Pros: Very nice r4, works great on my DS, i bought this several times to give as present to friends, they also enjoyed it. Normally you pay alot more for these, and now i can play all my favorite games for only 12 bucks, very nice investment.
Cons: I had to download some software and install it, in the beginning it as very tricky, but it worked. My friends also had a bit hard time with it, but in the end everyone will figure it out.
Other Thoughts: Not really, if you have a ds and you want to play alot of games, you should really buy this.
Bottomline: Buy this if you have a DS
Pros: -it came in its package-good pricing -works with 95% of games may not with with newer games-fast loading times-can load homebrews and emulators also-menu sorts games alphabetically
Cons: -issues with reading over 2gig worth of files-did not work with 1 game out of 50 titles-package was crushed on delievery (but who care abou that)-you will need to get the correct firmware before you can use it
Other Thoughts: Seems to only support 2gig even if your card is bigger... but that may be my card but the DSTT i have had no issues
Bottomline: very good product but i would get the DSTT cause i was able to play all the titles i have but the DSTT does not have the titles alphabetically sorted and its way slower then the R4 Deluxe
Pros: Packaging:Standard package, with a cardboard box with a sleeve.Cart Design:Good build quality, without any chips or cracks, has more curvesSetup and usage:Can select GUIs, can store multiple GUIs, easy drag and drop usage, no home brewed patching, includes moonshell, simple startup menuPerformance(used kingston 4GB SDHC):100% tested games compatibility, 100% tested download play, 100% tested WiFi gamesHomebrew support:Most applications work, that doesn't require Wifi or DLDI patching
Cons: Packaging:Some boxes was crushed during shipment. The insides was cheap, inconstancy on wriststraps.Cart design:MicroSD was not spring loaded, and wasn't entirely 100% flush fitting.Setup and usage:Startup menu lacking other options.Performance(used kingston 4GB SDHC):Slow on loading game, can't organize directories, drains battery, DS browser failed (due to expansion slot problems).Homebrew support:All WiFi applications failed, 30% of applications failed.
Other Thoughts: Homebrew problems yet again!
Bottomline: Very good knockoff that is on par with R4 upgrade.
Pros: - Good price, although more expensive compared to some other ones on this site- Works well with my NDS- Easy to use and load games- Saves tons of money on games- Great buy for friends and family- Being able to delete and add new games makes the NDS worth the price that it is sold for in retail- Still a good price compared to buying multiple games for your NDS
Cons: - None that I can think of - Maybe a little bit more expensive than the other ones that are listed on this site, but I trusted this one more because the ratings were a little better
Other Thoughts: None
Bottomline: Good product, saves you tons of money in the long run. Good investment and it is easy to use
