Pros: This battery is decent. I get about 4.5 hours of use out of it but I jump in and out of powersaver on my eee 701 for 50 bucks you can't got wrong its really a useful battery. It raises the eee pc up a bit when you put it in which gives a bit better ventilation. its great for a student like me it keep my laptop going between classes. The battery is black and matches my EEE pc which made me quite happy

Cons: Takes awhile to charge when your using, I would say it charges 2 times slower then me original battery. It seems to not hold as much charge as they claim and the capacity seems low when you readout the voltage its supposed to run at. As well its losing capacity faster then the original but not by very much and for 50 bucks I can't complain too too much

Other Thoughts: This is a great little battery especially for the price I would recommend it for students. Its been a great buy and I would get it again, but expect what you pay for. I read some troubling reviews from asus about after market batteries but so far this one is working great so I'm not sure what to think

Bottomline: if you need it buy it, you won't regret it its a great backup battery too I mean even if it runs down 30% before you use it will still last as long as your orignal and prop up the eee pc giving better ventilation so thats good right? again a great buy for student on a budget

- surface texture and color of battery do not match exactly as the netbook chassis

Other Thoughts: Battery life: much better than my original 4400mAh Eee 701 battery. Charged it for 8hrs on the first use and then did a battery drain test, lasted 3.5hr for continuous video streaming over the internet using Wifi, at CPU 765Mhz(using eeeCtl) and 50% brightness. The Original battery only lasted 1hr 30min.
Battery lifted up the netbook when inserted, great for touch typing and ventilation. EeePC will tip over only if you give the screen bezel a slight nudge, otherwise it stays as it is and post no problem even when screen is fully open.
Battery aesthetic is not up to standard, but is expected from previous user comments. Yes, there is a 2mm gap length-to-length, and the battery case is of a smoother texture(unlike the grainy texture for eee 701) and color is a shade shinier. will notice them upon closer inspection, but will not stand out as a sore thumb...

Bottomline: Great for extending the battery life. Now my Eee 701 is truly mobile without the power adapter....

Pros: This is a very reasonable price for a well made excellent product. The battery life is obviously dependant on various factory like wireless network and G3 card connection, as well as volume of speakers etc. But the overall battery life appears to be rought 2-3 times that of the original battery. The size raises the backof the computer, giving a better viewing angle. The height also allows for better airflow, especilly when the EEEPC is on a bed or couch.

Cons: The height causes the EEEPC to flop over backward sometimes if the screen is opened too far, but this is not really a problem.

Other Thoughts: Buy one if you have an EEEPC, I've just bought a second one for a friend who was very impressed by mine.

Bottomline: A good deal, well worth investing in!

Pros: This battery works as promised: It will extend the battery life of your little Eee-pc by a factor 2. Simply click it in and it can be used straight away. As mentioned in the other reviews it does indeed make the Eee a little more high, but that is not really a disadvantage.

Cons: Originally I ordered this battery for a friend of mine who has a 900HD, but surprisingly the 900HD uses a different connector then the 900. Hopefully Dealextreme will come up with a simular battery for that model as well, because this one cannot be used. Now I am using it with my 900, which works flawlessly. Make sure you check the battery number of your original battery with the ones mentioned above and you should be fine.
Two other major disadvantages are the weight and the size, but these are to be expected for an extended battery.

Bottomline: A great battery at a great price. Just make sure you check the battery number carefully before ordering. With all the different model numbers out there it can become a little confusing.
