Ownership verified by DX Great little torch!!!

Pros: * Very cheap for a flashlight with such power. A fraction of the cost of something comparable at a retailers.
* Extremely bright with good throw and a nice sized spot.
* Waterproof ( providing you have the o rings )
* Small and compact.
* Simple with just one mode.
* Very nice feel to it.

Cons: * The 18650 cell was loose inside, but I just stuck on a few small magnets and it stopped the shaking inside.
* Paint is chipping off.
* O rings were non existent, but were easily replaced.
* Not 250 lumens more like 180 ( might just be mine )

Other Thoughts: Would have liked if I could charge the cell while in the flashlight. I was used to conventional bulb flashlights and was getting used to led flashlights, maglite 3d, E2D but this just blew them away. The Surefire cost me over 100 euro, or 130 dollars and the maglite cost me 40 euro including the batteries... This cost me 20 dollars and is so much better....
The only thing mine broke :( After very heavy usage for around 3 weeks it broke.
My fault though, dropped it loads of times, off a silage pit, out of a tractor, went wading through water with it in my lower pocket, it got punched twice lol . Might be a minor thing, that is fixable but didn't have time to look at it thoroughly yet. It stopped working when i placed it on my desk and it just got knocked over and wouldnt turn on, its not the battery as I tried differnt ones...

Bottomline: It is an excellent flashlight for a dirty cheap price, I broke mine but can easily replace without hurting the bank. If you are looking through flashlights saying what would be a good, reliable, ( as long as you dont drop it too much ) cheap, bright, powerful and replaceable flashlight, well this is it.

Ownership verified by DX Great torch for the price

Pros: Really solid construction, lightweight and small. Bright as heck and throws good, but still has a very useful beam. The beam is about 2 metres wide in diametre from 2 metres away from the wall with a very bright hotspot in the centre about 20cm in diametre.
It is also a P60 host

Cons: Battery rattles a bit in the torch
Finish has very minor imperfections

Other Thoughts: I really like how it looks

Bottomline: Awesome deal for 13 dollars, definitely get this if you're looking for a torch with useful spill and throw

Pros: I have at least four 501 bodies, and around 8 drop ins for them.
My 501s are stashed around the house, and are my general "goto" light when I need a flashlight.
The R2 drop-in in this light represents a great in-door light, useable throw with a wide flood.

Cons: Not for use outdoors past 50ft or so. Get something brighter.
"Specialized" batteries can sometimes be a pain. Make sure to order plenty of CR123As and keep them charged!

Other Thoughts: I find 2xCR123A are much brighter compared to 1x18650. Runtime is still around 40min to an hour with two CR123As.

Bottomline: Great, cheap, all purpose indoor light. Useful outdoors at a short range.

Ownership verified by DX Had my doubts until I saw the light!

Pros: Rock solid, aluminum case, super bright. I work in a County Jail and use it every night and the batteries out lasted my friends Surefire. Not to mention if I loose mine I can afford to replace it. The finish is not Surefire quality but it isn't far from it and a fraction of the cost.

Cons: Could use a momentary type end cap switch.

Other Thoughts: Mine survived several drops, and a trip through the washing machine! Still working great and on the first set of batteries. By the way the batteries are also from DX. Shipping may take a while but very much worth the wait.

Bottomline: Every one who seen mine in use wants one.
