Pros: -Fairly bright
-Aluminum body is sturdy
-Clicky mechanism is robust and feels strong
-Disassembles easily
Cons: -Dimmer than my WF-502 Cree R2 light.
-Dim spot in the centre of beam.
-No driver. Direct drive.
-Expensive, given it's lack of any driver at all.
Other Thoughts: Obviously the units previously reviewed were different than the one I received. Opening the emitter assembly showed just 2 small wires driving the emitter directly from the battery. Drew a scant 1.3amps from a fresh 18650 and was put to shame in brightness by my Cree R2 emitter light I got for $16.
Bottomline: May have originally shipped with a driver, units shipping now clearly don't.
Not worth it.

Pros: This is probably the brightest 1x18650 torch you can get. Draws 3.3 amp from a fresh sku.19624, 2.8amp on a battery that has seen about half an hour of use. If I was walking any unlit lanes at night this is the torch (from my collection) I'd use.
Well made and a good weight, will make a good cosh ;o)
More of a useful flood than a spot. Out-illuminates my Ultrafire Q5, by far.
Only gets mildly warm.
Cons: Darker area in centre of spot.
Head is on the big size, probably OK for your jacket pocket, but not your pants.
Other Thoughts: Glad I chose this for my P7 torch.
Bottomline: If you want a bright torch that fits in your pants pocket try the Ultrafire WF-502B with an R2 (sku.16178) or Q5. If you want to light up everything in your path buy this.
Best one yet!

Pros: Lathing and anodizing are excellent. Centering of reflector hole is perfect. Driver is ample and not under powered like so many other single cell P7s here.
Cons: Kapton tape between emitter and pill and weak silicone sealant made for lousy thermal interface. Emitter popped off of pill when I opened up the head to look under the reflector. Without unsoldering the wires, I was able to remove the tape and silicone goo and replace with good thermal adhesive.
Other Thoughts: fix the thermal interface as described in cons section, and replace the switch with a forward clicke and you have a perfect little torch with massive output and ~2hr runtime.
Bottomline: Best P7 bang for the buck yet. I should know, I own 4 P7 torches from China. So far, this one bests them all in terms of value and bests 2/3 in build.
