Pros: Very nice for a little experiment as a novice (for children as for grownups). Very cheap and you really get a lot of sea-monkeys. It’s very nice to see them swimming in the water.
Cons: No English instructions, which could be a problem for first time users.Air pump could be better and the sea breads are a bit useless.Indication of how much food to give every day would be handy for new users, as is the amount of water to dissolve the eggs in.Mine died after 2 weeks, probably after not enough light (I was on a night-life-studying regime, so I slept during the day)
Other Thoughts: Great cheap replacement for your original sea monkeys, take good care and you have alot of fun.
Bottomline: You’ll love it
Pros: It works kinda. Cheaper than other places.Comes with extras(like rocks ?)
Cons: Only 5 hatched, and they ended up dying shortly after.No instruction to tell you how much water to use to dilute it.
Other Thoughts: I have had seamonkey's(the real stuff) before and they survived three years!! I just kept adding water mixed with sea salt to it when water evaporated and fed them crushed unsalted/unflavoured crackers.
Bottomline: Buy it for an experiment maybe you'll have better luck than i did. I wanted to use it as fish food but no luck.

Cons: Ok so this sea monkey kit did not hatch for me and I folowwed all the instructions so I bought some eggs at the pet store and they hatched in 2 days.
Other Thoughts: Price is a little high because you can get it at the dollar store now.
Bottomline: Really only good for the food nothing else.
Pros: Very cheap compared to the 'real thing'. Food and crystals included, which is very handy. Nice to try out. Fun to see all the little critters emerge seemingly out of nowhere.
Cons: There is no manual, so I looked some stuff up online, but I didn't do it right. They hatched for sure, they all died 4 days after. I fed them, and put them in a light spot. Not sure what went wrong. I put them in a huge glass jar, added the stuff and some salt, kept it at room temperature, but they still died quite suddenly.
Other Thoughts: Add a manual please. Fun to see how they respond to light.
Bottomline: Perhaps I'll try again later, see if I can get them to live next time. Fun toy.
