Pros: + cheap, in local store this type cardreaders cost at least 100$
+ good documentation in english
+ great build quality
+ examples on VB, VC++, Java, Delphi and so on - you will find it for your language without troubles.

Cons: - linux version doesn't support USB reader
- no sources of driver dll.
- included demo software is lack of functionality, but software from COM version seems to work with it too.
- i want freebsd driver too.

Other Thoughts:

Bottomline: A lot of cons, but same functionality reader with a more bad documentation (only C++ examples and only WinNT/2K/XP) cost more in my country. So, for that price it great!
