Pros: The camera is really small and can fit almost anywhere. The range was good enough too, went through the floor of the house. The IR LEDs do not produce visible light the way some do, and do illuminate close areas (although, the focal point is about a foot away and greater)

Cons: The camera gets quite hot when in use, seems fishy.
I couldn't even get it to work with the receiver it came with--I used the receiver I got with a similar camera from ebay (with that purchase, the camera didn't work!.
With the new receiver, it worked with the battery, but not the adapter (not sure why, the 9v battery was putting out 7.5v and the adapter was putting out close to 8).
The tuning is frustrating and difficult to get right. It's very finicky.
The colours are very washed out.

Other Thoughts: You can screw a better antenna onto the receiver. It's standard coax.

Bottomline: If you have a genuine use for this that can take the poor quality into account, and the one you get works, it might be a good deal considering the low price. I got mine as a toy, and the difficulty in using it outweighs the cool factor a bit.
