Price: starstarstarstar
Ease of Use: starstarstarstarstar
Build Quality: starstarstarstarstar
Usefulness: starstarstarstarstar
Overall Rating: starstarstarstarstar

Pros: This is an excelent flashlight, may be the price could be lower, but what the hell, its just perfect.
-Tailstand
-2 AA, easy to get
-Glass lenses
-3 o-rings so i think it is water resistant, i dont know if the switch is too
-SIDE SWITCH!! this is one of few flashlighst on DealExtreme with a sideswitch, which I like
-Resistant lankyard
-The size is perfect for your pocket, may be pretty long, but its not too heavy or too thick
-Very nice trow
-Excelent build quality, very solid

Cons: -AA batteries may rattle a bit, but thats normal, you can use a piece of paper to avoid it.
-I should invent something else here, may be the price, but i think if it was cheaper, it will be worse built..

Bottomline: Buy it right now!! this is a pretty nice flashlight, i dont have a lumen-meter or something like that, but its pretty more powerful than sku.1993 (using 1 alcaline AA there)
It is still more powerfull and has more throw than sku.19186 (170 lumen manufacture rated), but that flashlight is pretty better to knock heads.

Overall Rating: starstarstarstarstar

Pros: It is bright. Very bright. I strongly suggest not to look into a beam. The build quality is very good, the best of flashlights I own. I like the side-switch, I think it's a better solution than a twist-switch or a bottom-switch. As it uses two AA batteries, that can be found everywhere, there is no problem if you run out of power. It is also light and easy to handle.

Cons: The light beam could be a bit wider. Also, the runtime is not outstanding, but it may depend on batteries used.

Other Thoughts: I bought it for use in my car and I'm really happy with my choice. I think you can't find a better one for that money in a store.

Bottomline: Well-built, very bright and easy to use. If you are looking for a quality all-round flashlight, you can't find anything much better value for money.

Pros: I think Romisen builds outstanding flashlights and this one feels solid and functional.
I bought this flashlight for use in my car. It is handy, light and easy to handle. I was amazed by the build quality because it realy feels like quality stuff, so i guess it must be. I cannot tell about the quality in the long run, but it seems really quality made.
The use of two AA that are easy to get is perfect and the effect of the rather small LED lamp is incredible.
Therefore i can only recomend this flashlight.

Cons: The box this flashlight was shipped in was made out thick paper. I think it deserved a real box out of plastic or rubber. But it only a look and feel kind of thing that would present the product in a better way.
I really do not see any cons for the flashlight itself though.

Bottomline: If you need an easy to use real quality flashlight this is the one to buy. It is a quality Romisen flashlight and the LED lamp just explodes in your eyes. (Remember to newer look directly into the lamp for a longer time).
It is perfect for use in your car, on vacation, for walks in the woods or just for use in your home.

Ownership verified by DX another nice Romisen.... big surprize!

Pros: awesome build quality as usual.
Romisen builds outstanding flashlights.
then when you factor in the low price.... it's almost crazy.
but i like that kind of crazy!
i believe this one shares the reflecter with the RC-N3.[possibly the RC-G2 also]
without physicaly trying to swap them, they appear to be the same one. beam patterns are very similar.
this one is a single mode. the side clicky is a reverse one. romisens are known to be mostly forward clickers, but this side reverse switch can be momentarily blinked once it is already turned on.
runtime is about 3 or 4 hours on 2 aa's which is the only battery configuration this one has.
a very bright usable beam that has a good throw and hotspot.
i think it is a P3 cree.[?]
[hense the model name RC-P3][again ?]
it makes good use out of it though.

Cons: i wish it was a forward clicking switch.
could benefit from an updated cree like a Q5 or R2.

Other Thoughts: i had to get used to using the side switch again. it operates like a d cell maglite.... but i believe this one is much much brighter than my 2D 3W led maglite.
maglites are better for bonkin' on the head though.
but i'm talkin' lighting capabilities here.
i thought it would be cool to put the tail switch on it from my RC-N3 but the threads are different and this cap is smaller.
i forgot the RC-N3 can take a cr123 lithium also, making the body wider to accept it, so the switch switching won't work. damm.
it won't work off an RC-G2 either, the threads are different.

Bottomline: this is a great light to have as a general use light around the house.
easy for everyone to use.
some people i know have trouble grasping the light the right way with a tail cap switch, the side button is more natural, and it's what "cheap light" users are used to having.
"ooh! the thingy's on the side... i like that better"..... what ever lady!
so i need more of these for friends and family members.
in my reviews when i say i will get more of something because i like it... i really do get more of them... just so you know. :)
