Pros: I have 3 other 3AAA Flashlight.This one is far best.I really like the glass lens part.Buit solid.Little lighter than other 3AAA light.My first Q4 and it was very bright.Low mode still bright enough to shoot the light far.
Cons: I wish this came with memory on the light mode.i don't need whole lotta mode and this 3 mode is enough to click.Strap was really bad. i took it out.
Other Thoughts: other than strap part it is really good light.i also got the 6.5-inch Ultrafire Flashlight Holster sku 05250 and it fit well.
Bottomline: You can't go wrong with this one.$15 and it works really good.You need one flashlight for the house or camping or fishing...this is the one.
Pros: I was just so impressed with the build quality , for $15 , its just great , I was so impressed with it . Put out plenty of light for a 3AAA torch , Hi - lo modes seemed just right , 5000 Lux and 2100 lux
Cons: Ok , the controller [ 3 mode ] lasted all of 5 minutes , I was using it and suddenly there was a burning smell and then nothing . At first i thought it was the LED , but then I decided to test the LED with 2xAA in a batt pack with gator clips [ 3volts ] , the LED was fine . So it had to be the controller board , well , the torch body is fantastic , I guess something had to suck . I was wondering why the lux reading was going down , now I know , controller !
Other Thoughts: I was seriously impressed for all of 5 minutes , on 3xAAA alkalines it put out plenty of light , 5000Lux .
Bottomline: I hope I can get it fixed , seems like a real nice unit , just a darned shame about the controller . The body , threads etc , top notch . And the LED seems to be great as well . Would I buy another ?? I dont know . Wish it had a better REP on CPF .
Pros: Nice quality build. Glass lens, o-rings provide a good seal, quality switch (compared to other lights in the same price range), ability to use several different battery configurations
Cons: None so far
Other Thoughts: This light has the feel and looks of quality. The o-rings provide a seal that you can feel as you replace the batteries or check the head construction. Clicky is positive and, again, is of quality construction.
Bottomline: I have ordered several lights from DX, they all work as intended, but for the price this light is outstanding! I will be ordering more!
