Pros: • Slightly brighter than my Sacredfire V68C using one 18650 batt...same reflector and lens dimensions.• Two modes work correctly, Low mode is useful• O-rings where they should be• OP is not too much, still throws VERY well :)• Free shipping by EMS - thanks DX!
Cons: • Not as tighly focused as my VERY similar Saredfire V68C - not necessarily a con if you like that• Slightly bluer tint than the Q5 V68C
Other Thoughts: I also have the Sacredfire V68C, and I swapped the reflectors in the two lights, as well as a UCL lens I got from another site (see CPF for details on this) for a little better output. Now it is as tight as my V68C was, and brighter too. I'll try it with 2 CR123A batts tonight to see if it's even brighter.
Bottomline: It's a slightly brighter V68C, with an R2 emitter. Same reflctor and lens. I'll try it with 2 CR123A batts tonight to see if it's even brighter.
