Pros: Small light with plenty of output. This is my second unit. I bought a black one with holster also a month or two back. Works best with 14500 (highest output). AA as backup is a great idea but not the brightest on single AA lights out there. With the 14500, I would say this unit easily does 80-100 Lumens. On 14500, it outclasses my Streamlight Scorpian xenon with two 123 Li Ions (I compared this light b/c it used to be my favorite carry along for light and portable light).
Cons: A few drawbacks:
(1) Build quality varies from batch to batch as well as LED frequency. First one was brighter and more of a blue tint. Second unit seems better built but has a warmer more yellow tint in the beam. Also second unit is defintely not as bright on 14500.
(2) Also, second unit had a prints/marks on the surface of LED which can be seen in the light beam against a wall. Annoying but not easily taken apart to clean.
(3) Short run time with 14500. I have measured a max of 37 minutes on a full charge UltraFire or TrustFire protected cell.
**But can you really fault this light at this PRICE???**
Other Thoughts: Great intermitten emergency light to carry in the pocket or car glove box. Have spare AAs for backup lighting with knowledge that AA is exactly that... just a backup.
However, this light would be a great supplement as a backup light to a your primary light. I do a lot of night hiking and this is my choice to attach to my pants or backpack light that you forget.
Mine came with a little nick on the front bezel due to shipping and the noted marks/prints on the LED surface.
Bottomline: Like the title says: The light you always have with you is the best light that pays for itself in dividends. The size is coercive to just throw in your pocket and forget you have it until you need it.
Best lumen output for this size light on a 14500 with the limitation of run time.
Very lite and Cool light!!!

Pros: Very suitable light!
* Powerful beam, less than my old Philips xenon 2AA torch
* Has a Glow-In-The-Dark ring inside bezel, very cool idea!
* It is pleasant to the touch, a qualitative covering
* Lightweight, but the strong case
* Good quality threads
* Comes with wrist-strap attached
Cons: * Reverse Clicky switch, forward much better
* No pouch in complect - in is not good ;(
* Sensitive to pressure glass - i already break one
Other Thoughts: May be 3-mode (Mid-Low-Hi) driver and forward-clicky switch be a good idea for me, but very good.
Bottomline: Will buy more, all my friends wants the same torch too!

Pros: As with other C3's...
-Very compact and lightweight
-Great Output
-Beam has nice even shape
-White light offers good color rendition
-Comes with wrist-strap attached
-Clean machining and anodizing
Unique to this C3...
-Has a GITD ring just inside the bezel, which glows a bright green color
Cons: -Reverse Clicky
-130 lumen rating is deceptive, compares to lights in the 80-100 lumen range
-same price as the black one that comes with a holster
Other Thoughts: I have been very pleased with all three Ultrafire C3's I have bought, and I welcome new variations (like...maybe a Q5 single mode with a forward-clicky).
Bottomline: Get it.
