Pros: Good amp, easy to use, good qualityI received mine today and i riped open the box, power right up and i connect to my iPod touch 2G's LINE OUT using SKU 26505. I immediately pump up the music. WOW , i've never heard music sounded from my ipod touch sounds soooo good. It reminds me of my good old days with my first generation's Creative Zen Micro MP3 Player which has a very good op-amp.Im Using Ultimate Ears Superfi 5EBIt has a BASS BOOST switch which is handy when you wish to rock and roll ourdoors :)Blue LED when it's on, when low batt, im not sure. It's not low battery yet for my set ;)
Cons: Volume buttons are placed quite close to the jack. Therefore, it might hit your earphone jack.
Other Thoughts: Works as it should. Very cool!
Bottomline: Great small and handy amp. Price are OK. My local cheapest store sells these at about 40USD. heh you judge :) I will upload pics soon!
Pros: It's very little and cheap. Works perfect. With a pair of earphones I really don't detect any difference, but with a good headphones it does the job very well. The clip. The cables it comes with.
Cons: None at the moment....................
Other Thoughts: It's great that you can use it with any audio source, but in the case of an iPod would improve if connected directly to the dock (less cables in the way), but it's a great deal.
Bottomline: A must have if you plan to use a pair of headphones with a portable player.
Pros: 1. Great for headphones - made my Grado's sound REALLY good!2. nice and small - its portable
Cons: 1. its a bit clunky to use...there are too many wires...2. its build quality while isn't excellent, its not bad either.3.does not work well for earphones :(
Other Thoughts: This is a must have for any audiophile enthusiast.
Bottomline: If you own some good quality headphones - these are a must have for you. However if you are those types of people that use the propriety earphones that come with you mp3, don't bother buying it. You can't really hear the difference unless your using some good headphones (not earphones)
Pros: Really quite small. Build quality is pretty good. Nice black paint and overall presentation. Packaging it came with was very nice. Came with the required cables to charge and connect. Provides a noticeable boost in volume. Can't really comment on sound quality though.
Cons: I took it off my mp3 player as I couldn't be bothered carrying something bulky.
Other Thoughts: Really nice thing to have. The rechargable li-ion internal battery is much better than the AAA batteries required for the hold Fiio Amp.
Bottomline: Try it out to see if it improves the sound quality of your mp3 player. It's pretty cheap so you won't really be losing out. You can always resell it in your home country for about the same price.
