Pros: great priced touch screen for eee i was looking around everywhere then i stumbled onto this one. Works great, easy enough to install, seems to be strong enough (seeing i throw my laptop bag across my car every morning) if you know what your doing GET ONE
Cons: there was a few but i could get over it. This product is defently OEM it doesnt have a fancy box or instructions just the bits and pieces thrown into a whatever box. mine wasnt supplyed with any shock proof tape or mounting foams but i had bits at home to get by. this is a dificult mod and if you dont know what your doing u will probally wreck your eee.
Other Thoughts: This item is a great little project to do i had mine installed in under 2 hours been using it ever since. way handier using touchscreen on couch and in bed instead of the awkward touchpad. I have noticed there is a very slight bulge when i close the lid of the eee, this is only expected becuase there is another layer in the screen now, this could be fixed if i moded the plastic housing arround the screen, but its not that bad so i wont bother.
Bottomline: Great product if you have any skills in electronics. would be nice if DX posted installion guide PDF with the product description but theres heaps of info on the net about this anyway. So if your thinking about getting a touchscreen for eee this one seems as good as any, works well, very responcive and fun to use. BUY ONE YOU CANT GO WRONG
Awsome feature to add to your netbook!!

Pros: Make your netbook a touchscreen for less than $70! Have something that most people don't and be the envy! Great for my wife's office note program. Not too bad to install on my ASUS eee 1000HE.
Cons: Voids warranty because you must remove a "void warranty" sticker in order to get inside the case. It's a moment to ponder, but worth it if you have the delicate touch and patience to do the mod. Does not include the double side tape needed to attach the screen or to attach the hub in the case. Not really bluetooth. I don't know what the description says that.
Other Thoughts: Mine was shipped fairly quickly. I hope to add pictures and video soon.
Bottomline: Get this if you are not afraid to void your warranty and have some skills working with delicate electronics.

Pros: IF you are VERY comfortable in taking nearly EVERY single screw out of your EEEPC and laying it out all over the table, this is for you! But if you are not familiar with insides of laptops then YOU WILL LIKELY KILL YOUR COMPUTER! And since this voids warranty anyway- you need skills!
Cons: It is CERTAINLY not BLUETOOTH at all, the mini PCB is a USB HUB which plugs into the CAMERA port (the mini webcam is USB inside the EEEPC). And it is NOT driverless- however the drivers (in XP use the BETA version) are awesome.
Other Thoughts: Took about 2.5 hours to complete (ok, my drinking slowed me down) But this very nice mod comes with NO INSTRUCTIONS. (you can find instructions on YOUTUBE I found out later!) I also suggest getting a screen protector for the finished product. The hub has extra ports, so I am considering modding a USB GPS RVCR for internal use on an extra port!
Bottomline: Very finger friendly, multi mode drivers allow setup to "click on release", "click on touch", "movement only", etc. Just remember; in WinXP you need the RESISTIVE "BETA" version of the drivers from the CD included. - Too bad they did not include a little tape to secure the panel, but scotch tape works good enough. Nor did they include any adhesive to mount the "hub" so you will need a double sided foam tape.

Pros: touchscreens are very useful. it is NOT bluetooth, it is usb, it also works when bluetooth is disabled.
Cons: makes your screen a little darker and more reflective. is made of glass and therefore easy to crack.
Other Thoughts: too bad, that i caused a small crack on the edge of the display by tightening a screw too hard. it worked well for a week, but now the crack is huge and it doesnt work well anymore.
Bottomline: be careful when installing it. dont just put it in the display and try to tighten the screws as hard as you can.
