Pros: Size - tiny, and fits any pocket or purse!
Quality - typical DX product, Excellent Quality!
Price - Even without the holster, this light is an amazing bargain!
Functionality - Bright as heck, and works perfectly!

Cons: None - except I should have bought a few more of them!! You think I'd have learned a lesson by now, I have one of these lights, and the 2 lights I ordered now are gifts. I could use a bunch more, for all the cars, and motorcycles.

Other Thoughts: Took this light with us on a motorcycle camping trip last week. I could have sold a dozen of them to friends! As soon as they saw them, they all wanted one, and when I turned the light on - they REALLY wanted one!

Bottomline: Just get a couple! They work fine on AA Alkalines or NiMh, as well as protected cells, and are nearly as bright. How does DX get these lights and ship them for this amazing price?

Pros: I have bought 5 of these little lamps. All of them are able to outshine my $100 Streamlight models. At a TENTH OF THE COST! These lamps are great for lighting up dark areas, semi-lit areas, and any area that needs to be visible at a moments notice.

Cons: The lamp gets a little warm after continued use. I get about half an hour of use out of a 14500 protected cell. A AA battery is still quite bright, and lasts longer. But I appreciate a real bright lamp anyways so I don't mind.

Other Thoughts: A half hour isn't enough for a day's use in my field, but I bought a pair of batteries anyways, so I keep one charged in the office while I'm out and about. I have paid the price of the lamp for shoddier holsters, so that's a plus in my book. I bought one for my mom to keep in her purse, for my sister, one to keep in the car, and one to have inside my desk. the price makes them really attractive. I have had several lamps stolen, lost, and otherwise damaged in regular use. For the price of 10 of these I can barely replace a Streamlight Strion. I had one DOA on my last shipment, but I contacted Deal Extreme and I received an email a few days later stating they were shipping a new one to me. You can't beat that.

Bottomline: I have had people offer me four times the price for the little lamp. The fact that it uses a single AA battery makes it easy to keep in the pocket, or on your belt with the included holster.

Cons: The flashlight may fall out of the holster with rough handling
Holster doesn't fit the flashlight with extensions
Threads don't come oiled

Other Thoughts: Fantastic flashlight. Oil the threads up and you're ready to go. Runs for 1-2 hours on a normal AA and is extremely bright for the average user. Had to change a tire at night and this was an invaluable help.

Bottomline: Excellent purchase. Even thought it was an impulse buy I've put it to use enough to offset the cost.

Pros: It's very bright, hat good focus for searching distant objects. The lamp is small and uses AA batteries which are common all over the world (no special LiIon accus needed).

Cons: The contact problem as many other users wrote. When the lamp first arrived it did not work at all. I had to tighten the tail cap very strong to keep it working.

Other Thoughts: If you fix the contact problem with a little piece of aluminium foil (or something like that) it works great.

Bottomline: I did not expect so much brightness from such a little lamp.
