Pros: Very nice and decorative, creates a relaxing atmosphere. Very strong and vibrant colours. Really gives a dark room a strong, almost psychedelic mood, especially when several are used simultaneously. These things are almost hypnotizing!
 
Cons: I haven't been able to open the battery slot on mine yet, hopefully the battery will last a good while.
 
Other Thoughts: In the pictures it looked kind of soft, but I don't mind it being hard plastic. The surface feels quite nice, too.
 
Bottomline: Get a few of these, they are awesome as a decoration or just a toy!

Pros: i believe there are eight colours in total
-already has batteries included and in place
-not bad for a light in the dark but you may be frown by the number of lights.
 
Cons: Mine had a dent on the side  ... it must of been because of the way it was packed.... i thought it was going to be like that the after a few days it had the shape it was meant to have i did nothing to it.....
 
Other Thoughts: not good for any thing in particular.... but some ting to play with....
 
Bottomline: its cheap... but not good for much

Cons: Can't choose the colors, it keeps changing forever.
The intern mechanism is kind of cheap, there are 3 LEDs and I had to fix the circuit. When it arrived, only the red color was working...
 
Other Thoughts: The snowball itself worth more than the circuit and you can always DIY the circuit if you want only one color at a time.
It would be real useful if changing the batteries for a stronger one.
 
Bottomline: I will probably buy another one as soon as possible...

Pros: Nice size, the soft outer layer will not break if it falls off the table.  Colors shift at a good rate.
 
Cons: The outer layer is not as even as it should be, thus the surface is not evenly illuminated.  It only has 1 mode of operation, turn on the switch and the lights will cycle from blue to red to green with smooth mixing in-between.
 
Other Thoughts: It would be better if: a) it could have the option of USB power built in, b) you could chose different color shift speeds (a slower speed would be nice) c) you could pause it at a color you like
 
Bottomline: You won't be disappointed if you are just looking for a simple mood-light device.  I plan to buy 10 and scatter them over the bedroom one night and surprise my girlfriend with them.
