I have had the ball on for five hours and the battery is still ok.

The price is really good, in my country the price is double.

Pros: This is a very beautiful translucent snowball illuminated with LED's, that keeps changing the color gradually.
When you turn off the light it becomes gorgeous and the LED s look so much better
It's very decorative, I recommend it

Cons: You can't choose the color. It only have a on/off switch. By the way, it works with 3 LED (green, blue, red) and if you know some electronics, you can "hack" the circuit to choose the color.
My ball isn't very round. It has some dents on the surface that make dark spots while it's working. This is the worst Con., and this is why it's 3/5 in build quality.

Bottomline: The color sequence is: blue, purple, red, (red+green), green, (green+blue), blue...
Would be a AAA+ if it had a switch to choose the color (don't like green :P, and it's changing every second, it makes it annoying) and the ball was totally round.

Bottomline: Fuer nur 2,60€ kann man eigentlich nicht viel erwarten, doch die Qualität dieses Faders ist bestens.

Pros: I originally bought this ball to use a part of a Christmas decoration but my young nieces and nephews love it so much that they'll probably play with it all year round. Ball is lit with three LED bulbs that gradually shift colours. Colours shift fluidly in this sequence: RED>ORANGE>GREEN>BLUE>PURPLE. It's a really neat novelty light that can be used at parties. This also makes a perfect night light for kids as the transition of colours is smooth and not distracting at all. The ball has a semi-hard plastic exterior; much like a zero bounce street hockey ball.

Cons: The ball has some dark spots which causes the light to be inconsistent in some areas. The dark spots may be caused by the denting of the plastic ball during shipping or something inside the ball. This however, really isn't a big issue as the ball is still well lit. The ball also received a small dent during shipping.

Other Thoughts: Ball is powered by three (3) LR44 button cell batteries. The ball also does not appear to be hollow. When I remove the LED board from underneath the unit, there is a domed filter inside the ball. I don't think I can remove this part. Ball is shipped in a plain cardboard box.

Bottomline: This is a really neat novelty light. You can buy several and use them at parties or just buy them to use as night lights.
