Pros: it really useful .. i have a linksys router on the second floor and in the first floor the signal be poor but with this it go to very good
believe it or not ..i picked my friend router and he is like 600M away from my home
maybe his router is powerful but without the Gsky i never thought i can pick his network
it also didn't need me to install a driver on my windows 7

Cons: nothing really
it can't be any better

Other Thoughts: i still didn't try it on Linux but i hope it works on backtrack 4

Bottomline: its really good ..buy it now

Pros: A signal becomes strong.
Realtek chip good.
Build quality looks great, USB-plug fits perfect, thick USB-cable, sturdy casing, nice antenna.
Good price!

Cons: Explanation and the item of the different chip.
I needed an extension cable to get this all the way to the location I had to place it in to get the desired connection.

Other Thoughts: Realtek chip is RTL8187B.
Linux drivers don't support

Bottomline: It is better than the built-in antenna.
Good value, strong wifi USB dongle.

Pros: cheap and very easy to use, works well with wifislave, backtrak4 and wifiway

Cons: under the linux environment and under win xp only connects me to 11Mbps

Other Thoughts: hello, good morning, I bought a sky g wireles adapter and I can not connect at 54 mbps, always connects to 11 mbps, I have played all the parameters you have and always the same even a few centimeters of the wifi router, I have tried on a computer with usb 2.0 usb 1.oy another and always at 11Mbps.
I tried wifiway, wifislave, and backtrack 4 and I always connect at 11Mbps, the instructions set: the connection B is g 11Mbps and the connection is 54 mbps
I use the G, so that is not what is happening, maybe the unit is damaged, I installed the drive that comes with the adapter using the XP setting I have on my computer win xp professional.
another question is: because when I have the adapter plugged into the USB port and turn on my computer, not running xp, I have to disconnect the adptador Reinier win xp and then connect the adapter, with other target is not had this problem starting,
the manufacturer may have some better driver for win xp pro
greetings and thanks for answering

Bottomline: is perfect, but maybe my unit is broken

Realtek chip, which means good drivers!
Strong signal.
Build quality looks great, USB-plug fits perfect, thick USB-cable, sturdy casing, nice antenna.

Cons: Maybe the fact that it's external, but hey, you can't have everything (at least not at this price-level).

Bottomline: none
