Pros: - good looking, good build feel - 2 piece design - head can be swapped with 2070 - tail stands - good price - short length
Cons: - oring is too low and no preasure against head as you twist. - head rattles when off - not bright. was quiet bright when i first used it, but flickered and dimmed to same as 2070 after few minutes. haave not investigated. i might be dreaming. - purple ish, still good tho. suspect this is luck to the brightness and colour. - flickers if you dont twist tightly - short throw light - 1253 keyrings are brighter - aa maglite is brighter for distance lighting
Other Thoughts: - works good as a candle in a DARK room - change oring and it would work alot better - should be good to mod. led is held in with a little glue
Bottomline: - for $5 its a great cheap good looking candle. and thats what i wanted. tho i would buy 2070 instead, unless you really want this shorter round shape...
Pros: Low price, use common AA batteries. Works as advertised.
Cons: Fit and finish not the greatest, but still acceptable for its price.
Other Thoughts: My first unit stopped working after a few minutes, but DX was nice enough to send a replacement, which is still working now.
Bottomline: Provides about 2 hrs of decent light with Panasonic 2000ma NIMH battery. Worth the money.
Pros: Priced right, very small (if that's what you want), uses one standard AA battery, good beam pattern. The lanyard is nice too.
Cons: Twist-on switch requires two hands to operate. Not too good for modifying.
Other Thoughts: It's a bit brighter than a standard 2xAA Maglight while being half the size and using half as much power. Nice.
Bottomline: The bottom line: I wanted the smallest single AA light at the smallest price while still being pretty bright. With that in mind I'm very pleased with this light. If someone stole it I'd buy another!
Pros: Small,about the size of a Bic lighter,surprisingly usefull light when walking outside at night or around the house.When placed on it's tail will have enough useable light to easily navigate through a 12 feet by 16 feet room!
Cons: none
Other Thoughts: I placed a litle teflon tape on threds to tighten them much smoother operation.I have been using this light for about 10 days(15-20 minutes a day)on the same battery and it is still going strong!
Bottomline: Excellent light for just over 5 dollars I would have expected to pay about 15 dollars at a sporting goods store,great bang for the buck!
