This light has good build quality and is very compact in size. Features plastic lens and reflector cups (as usual for MXDL lights). Although output power is rated to be 3W by the manufacturer expect something less as the light uses a China-made generic high power LED bulb. Expect about an hour of continuous usage with a single CR123A battery. This light also takes rechargeable 3.6V CR123A and output is actually a little brighter..
.
Overall, not bad for the price.

Ownership verified by DX Cheap 123a light

Involvement: Expert (understands the inner workings) - Ownership: 1 day to 1 week

Price: starstarstarstar
Ease of Use: starstarstarstarstar
Build Quality: starstarstar
Usefulness: starstarstarstarstar
Overall Rating: starstarstarstar

Pros: - it's a small, cheap, somewhat bright 123a light
- can use rechargeable cr123a batteries in this light
- decently small

Cons: - twisty on, these tend to break from twisting too much, because the threading tends to come off on lower quality lights
- generic chinese LED, but it works well

Other Thoughts: - feels like a good candidate for a cree mod, someone should try this out.
- the LED mocule screws out, and fits in the WF-606a light. the 606a light module does not fit, the reflector gets in the way
- plastic reflector

Bottomline: if you're in the market for a cheap light, and you have a bunch of extra 123as, then get this light!

Pros: -This thing provides all the light you will need for looking in your trunk for something, looking at your engine if you break down, lighting up a room or cupboard, any normal task.
-Easy as all hell to use. Circuit board and spring are cheaply-built but work fine.
-Pretty damn long battery life.
-Nice and cheap.

Cons: -If you want a 1000-lumen uber torch with great throw, this is definitely not for you.
-Feels a little light and cheap.
-Tiny lanyard. I could just squeeze my hand in there.

Other Thoughts: -Came in a little cardboard box which was a little dinged up. Product was unharmed.
-Works great as stocking stuffers or as token gifts.
-Pocket size and not that durable, but since it's so cheap you won't care about it scratching.

Bottomline: -Cheap
-Fun
-Simpler than 1 + 1
-Looks nice, very portable
-Useful
-Recommended.

Pros: Price. Simple single CR123 battery light. Twist on and Twist Off. Small.

Cons: Cheap build quality. Blue tint and low brightness. Won't work on an RCR123. Rattles a little bit and the head is loose when off. soft aluminium. Textured reflectors that is jammed inside the bezzle.

Other Thoughts: Good light for the price. It may last longer than it appears. Isn't bright so it may run long time. I didn't check. I tried to put in a glass lens but ruined the reflector and found it it had a glass lens in it anyway. It still works, just a little more floody.

Bottomline: Good gift. Fun.
