Pros: - Pretty solidly built. The casing is solid metal, and the straps are pretty durable rubber.- Some of the transitions for the seconds display are neat.- The analog timekeeping parts work well.
Cons: - No light, so it's pretty difficult to make out the LCD display unless you have a direct light source.- The "falling numbers" effect is not very good, and really just looks like a bunch of numbers flashing on and off.- The four side buttons can only change the transition animation for the seconds display. You can't reset the seconds counter either, so if it's off compared to the actual time, you can't do anything about it.
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline: It's an alright watch, but the pictures and descriptions make it look more impressive than it actually is. The digital seconds display, although interesting-looking, is also kind of useless. Don't buy this for the novelty factor.
