This item is very useful for camping and hiking trips. The included armband is great as you wo'nt need to worry about where to carry the device.

Under "Mosquito" mode the device produces no audible sound and under the "Dragon Fly" mode the device produces a low frequency clicking noise that's barely audible -- they don't get in the way of normal activities..

Note that the packaging says the unit drives away "male" mosquitos. After investigating into this interesting topic, we've confirmed that the unit works the following way:

Drives away female mosquitos by generating the sound a male mosquito makes while flying. Pregnent (blood sucking) female mosquitos are highly disturbed by this sound.

Pros: I have no idea if it did help - but it made me feel a bit better. Something of a Talisman, and I kept it on whilst out of an evening.
..the LED light can be pressed against a finger to make that finger glow.
 
Cons: One of them ate the battery - the other went on indefinitely... The light on it is a bit pointless... oh wait - let me add another "pro".
 
Other Thoughts: I could hear both noises, but that might be because I am young and virile - however... I was in a band once...
 
Bottomline: Just get one of these or the keyring ones, and shove it in your shirt pocket. Take the pills too, and use a smell. Also bring some itch fixer stuff too.

Pros: It's cheap. That's all positive I can say about this device. Oh and I like the colour.
 
Cons: The build quality is terrible. The battery almost doesn't fit in the device, you really have to push to fit it in. Also, it stopped working after a few days. It only fell on a BED for 10 cm max, but worked for a day after it. I got it almost a week ago and it's broken already.
Even more, the day it did work, there were still mosquitos in my room, even though the device was next to my head. It won't work for dutch mosquitos.
 
Other Thoughts:  
Bottomline: Don't buy it, there's better stuff for mosquitos.

Pros: no funciona, por lo tanto ninguno
 
Cons: Otro trasto mas para mi coleccion de "cacharros inservibles que me da lastima tirar", no funciona, aqui en España los mosquitos se pasean delante de el incluso se acercan con carita de querer copular con el aparatejo y ya se sabe despues del sexo entra hambre y es entonces cuando van a por tu cuerpo confiado por haber comprado un trasto que te crees que va a servir de algo

Bad for mosquitos

Pros: It repel mosquitos very well.
Very easy to use.
Very small, and It's so good.
It have a red led, I don't know why, but it's good to see the level of the batteries.
 
Cons: The batterie cover is hard to close when the batterie is inside.
It's a little ugly.
The overall quality isn't so good.
It repel mosquitos very well, but the level 2 (for dragon flys) doesn't works well, actually, I can't repel any dragon fly (lol).
 
Other Thoughts: The red led button is hard to press, but it doesn't have any function, so it doesn't matter.
 
Bottomline: It's very good for repel mosquitos, I put it on the window and I let the window open at the night and it works very well.
But isn't good for dragon flys, but I don't care.
