Pros: Very bright, i also own a w606a, by far not as bright as this light, though it could have some more throw and a bit less spill. But it lights up my backyard like daylight. I will mount it on my bike with a fenix mount (has to arrive yet)
Cons: Build quality could be better, allthough the o-rings where greased. I do not need the SOS, nor the strobe setting.Screws that mount the led are filed away to fit in housing.
Other Thoughts: Great light for biking (i hope) hiking and around the house. But i think it will not stand much abuse.
Bottomline: Price is ok, you get what you pay for, a good and bright allround flashlight.
Pros: Solid construction and finish, bright semiconductor and useful optics.
Cons: Something's buggy with the electronics and it won't operate at full brightness for more than a few seconds. Batteries tested ok and put out a constant voltage that is on spec; it's just the light that can't drive full output for any longer than a few seconds. can't really use it when you don't
Other Thoughts: There's not much more I could ask for in the body or feature set at this pricepoint. It would be nice if the performance of my particular light inspired confidence. I can't use it if it's never going to to operate at a reasonable level for more than a few seconds.Maybe if I knew more about the components I could fix this problem without too much hassle, but as it is I'm a little disappointed.
Bottomline: Buy it if you don't mind gambling. Maybe some work better than others. If you want something reliable, look elsewhere.
Pros: Bright, mine has 5(?) modes with memory. High, Mid, Low, Strobe and SOS. Even the low-setting can actually be enough when its really dark
Cons: Not really as bright as i was hoping for. I use mine with new Ultrafire protected 2400mah 18650´s. It is clearely stronger than my old Ultrafire Cree C2 at the "hot spot" and the hot spot also has a bigger radious and the light is a bit more yellow-ish than the quite blue "white" light from my cree C2.
Other Thoughts: If you dont really need a superbright light, i would go with something for around 20 bucks thats bright enough for "normal" use and wont use ur batteries up so quickly.
Bottomline: Overall, exept having an extra (useless?) mode and the fact it wasent really so bright that i had hoped for i guess its a good bright flashlight thats still small enough to be used a lot.
