Pros: Small and bright. Lots of power levels and stays on the last level after shut off. Not the brightest torch out there but dern close. I have bought a ton of these for gifts. Out of over a dozen, three had bad contacts the needed to be fixed but an easy one.
Brighter than my car headlights
Cons: The "riot tip" is a little bulky in the pocket and the tail is tough to slip into a holster. The chip get a little warm and uses more juice than I would like. It robs some of the power from the emitter but not that it matters much. Don't point in peoples eyes!!!!
Other Thoughts: Water proof but I would not take it under water due to the LiPo battery hazard. If there is a holster out for this I want it.
Night skiing can be dangerous but not now. I have daylight in the snow. Great for hunting, camping or even spelunking.
Bottomline: Very bright, small, versatile, low cost, and rugged. Get one for you and one for each of your family and friends and neighbors and mail man and milk man and barber and plumber and lobotomist and paleontologist and proctologist....

Pros: It's my first high powered LED light, and I'm not sure if it actually makes 900 Lumens or not because I've never seen a 900lm flashlight in action, and many people say it's much less then that.
Either way, it's *way* brighter than any other flashlight around the house, and I'm not just talking about some keychain ones.
900 or not, you'd have to have some pretty high expectations to not be completely satisfied with the light output. If you're that picky, buy an HID light or something.
The build quality is solid, o-rings are greased (haven't dunked it in the water.. but it's definitely at least splash/rain proof.
Build quality is solid, all aluminum no cheap plastics. Lens is nice and hard. Even the on switch feels nice and solid.
Cons: 5 modes are: High, Medium, Low, Strobe, S.O.S. They're all useful in some way, but the one thing that bugs me is that not only does the flashlight move to the next mode when you momentarily depress the switch, but also when you turn it off completely. So if you were on High, and turn your flashlight off, the next time you turn it on (even after 10+ minutes) it will be at medium, so you have to cycle through the remaining modes to get back to High. I find that to me unnecessary and annoying.
But it doesn't always do that. Sometimes it stays. Seriously.. I'm not 'electronically retarded' or anything, but this driver seems to have a mind of its own.
If you don't need all those modes (like oh often are you in such bad shape that you cant make an S.O.S. signal manually) then consider the same model with a different driver.
Other Thoughts: This may sound obvious.. but buy batteries. I figured I could find 18650's in a radioshack or walmart or something, but I was very wrong. Order them from DX or somewhere else, but order it before you expect the flashlight to come, because look as hard as you want.. you wont find them in a store, and it sucks having a paperweight flashlight sitting around.
Also, it's very compact for such power, which is great, but I have huge hands and they don't quite fit without one finger landing on the tailcap or the area behind the reflector housing. If you have huge hands and comfort comes before compactness, consider one of the slliiighhtly larger flashlights.
Bottomline: Get it, it's totally sweet, whether or not it measures up to the manufacturer's claims, its still incredibly bright. I mean seriously.. just *how much* light do you *really* need..
Great flashlight

Pros: Very bright, i also own a w606a, by far not as bright as this light, though it could have some more throw and a bit less spill. But it lights up my backyard like daylight. I will mount it on my bike with a fenix mount (has to arrive yet)
Cons: Build quality could be better, allthough the o-rings where greased. I do not need the SOS, nor the strobe setting.
Screws that mount the led are filed away to fit in housing.
Other Thoughts: Great light for biking (i hope) hiking and around the house. But i think it will not stand much abuse.
Bottomline: Price is ok, you get what you pay for, a good and bright allround flashlight.
Good construction, inconsistant performance

Pros: Solid construction and finish, bright semiconductor and useful optics.
Cons: Something's buggy with the electronics and it won't operate at full brightness for more than a few seconds. Batteries tested ok and put out a constant voltage that is on spec; it's just the light that can't drive full output for any longer than a few seconds. can't really use it when you don't
Other Thoughts: There's not much more I could ask for in the body or feature set at this pricepoint. It would be nice if the performance of my particular light inspired confidence. I can't use it if it's never going to to operate at a reasonable level for more than a few seconds.
Maybe if I knew more about the components I could fix this problem without too much hassle, but as it is I'm a little disappointed.
Bottomline: Buy it if you don't mind gambling. Maybe some work better than others.
If you want something reliable, look elsewhere.
