Pros: the beans are cheap, you get 10 for under two dollars. they are simple to grow, you just plant them and water them. not high maintenance . they would make a gift for a child who likes to grow things. my niece loved seeing the designs on them after she grew them.
Cons: the assortment i got was like 8 of one design, and two of another. it was not much of an assortment.
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline: i would have liked them a lot more if there would have been a better assortment of designs. but they were cheap and my niece loved them.
Pros: Very great idea of present for friends.Cheap and original.
Cons: BUT you can't choose the message print on the bean : I received lots of the same message (like : "good luck") (both in english or chinese)Furthermore, it DIDN'T grew up !! It's cheap but if this diesn't grow, what can I do with this ???
Other Thoughts: I think you could buy it and try by yourself, maybe I'm no lucky, maybe the bean were very old when they sent them to me .. I don't know... But I had already ordered on ebay in other countries something like that and had no problem ...
Bottomline: I live in Belgium, I think that our climate should be enough to make theses beans grows!
Pros: These beans are fun. I ordered them in brown version first and planted them. They are cheap and nice to get as a gift for a birthday or just because.
Cons: Too bad they don't give any flowers, atleast they haven't showed up for me yet. I got almost only beans with the same word on it. Too bad since some change would be nice.
Other Thoughts: Nice nice nice, buy them and grow them!! Also nice for a gift or a little kid to have it grow their own plant.
Bottomline: They get pretty big actually haha, let mine grow on my balcony and it's about the length of my door knob.
Pros: Just stick it in a cup of soil. Water. It will grow.The messages can be seen on the leaf. Really quite magical.
Cons: The print blurs after a while.And the 500 character limit really doesn't help when one is trying to comment on a bean. Make it 300 characters. Its a bean. It grows. It has a message.
Other Thoughts: The laser etch is visible on the bean, so if giving this as a gift, give it pre-planted. And, just to be safe, make sure it has already sprouted.
Bottomline: Buy. These. Beans. Just to be safe, though, add a Drop Shipment label to your order. ($0.01)
