Pros: For the price this works very well for astronomy. it has a visible beam all the way up to the stars ar as far as necessary to pin point. amazing range build is nice, good feel. thinking of getting the the next one up because this one is impressive.
Cons: none for price. can't think of anything really, but if anyone leaves any cons for this price for the item, it would be a shame as this is a bargain. well mine was!
Other Thoughts: uses batterys, as obvious. so make sure you get the best recharging batteries.many available here. get the best
Bottomline: <50mw for next to nothing.. Why not!Might buy another
Pros: This is a VERY bright laser even in daylight. If you don't have any green lasers - you'll be surprised how bright it really is! The dot can be seen far away no matter what time of the day it is, and on the evening and night you can see a very nice green beam :) Also I can see the beam in daylight if I instert fresh 1.5V batteries. Isn't very visible though. Can pop balloons and such, but be careful when using it inside, IR is not good for your eyes ;p The laser itself came in a very nice and steady case. The batteries that comes with it runs out quickly so buy another (rechargeable) pair.
Cons: Can't think of any.
Other Thoughts: Remember to buy rechargeable AAA batteries, preferably 1.5V. I have 1.2V rechargeable and it works great! Also remember to not lend this item out to anyone with 1) zero experience about lasers 2) no brain capasity 3) children If you accidently point the beam at (one of) your eyes, you'd probably end up having permanently decreased eyesight. Shipping took 6 days from Hong Kong to Norway, but only 4 working days ;) (Yes, airmail). But I had to wait for the supplier for like 2 weeks. But well worth the wait! :)
Bottomline: Get this one...best $23 I have spent as far as I can remember... Just make sure you use it with great respect :) Better be safe than sorry. For $23 you can't go wrong. Best buy I have made on DX at the moment.
Pros: # The dot of the laser is very bright and goes very far even in daylight# Pops balloons with dark spot# Nice solid case# Uses AAA batteries# Good finish booting and rock solid structure# Fixed focus
Cons: # The batteries run out very quickly!# Button is poor, might stop working some day!!!# Maybe it's dangerous in wrong hands.
Other Thoughts: -You can play with street cats to 2 miles away!!! :)
Bottomline: I'm happy I got it. I've had a lot of fun with it and impressed a lot of people.
Pros: Very Powerfull, you can see the beam in houses and by night. the case il really great, il will keep you laser safe.
Cons: the power output il very powerfull, so after some time of use il can decrease a lot, you need to not use it for some times (30min - 1hour) and its back to full power !you need good batteries too, the ones with it are very crappy
Other Thoughts: can be dangerous if not used carefully, so don't point it to persons, pets etc...
Bottomline: get one ;), way better than the true 30mW, i don't think you can get better for that price.
