Pros: Super cheap. I haven't seen any hub any cheaper.
7 ports. Most hubs give you about 4.
External power supply.

Cons: It's very fragile. Looks like you can rip the ports apart with little force. The blue plastic it's pretty whimsy. In fact. it came with a crack in the outer plastic, but nothing to hinder its workings.
Althought the LEDs are fun for the first two minutes, by the third they become REALLY ANNOYING. And you can't turn them off.
The power supply is only 1A. You could run out of current if you use many high powered USB gadgets.

Other Thoughts: My Creative ZEN hangs randomly while attached to this hub. Haven't found any other piece of hardware that had problems.

Bottomline: It's ok if you treat it kindly, but the lights and the whimsiness are death penalty to this item in a house with kids.
I got mine duct taped to STOP THOSE BLINKENLIGHTS!

Pros: Cheapest USB Hub I ever seen and bought, $1.42/port. Installed as a USB 2.0 Hub on my Windows XP computer. Comes with a 1 ampere 5 volts switching power supply (plug in type) and a short USB connection cable.

Cons: Build quality is a bit cheap. The upstream connector is very smal and the HUB disconnect itself from the computer if you manipulate the it while connecting a USB device. Anoying colorer leds on each port and a central blinking led.

Other Thoughts:

Bottomline: Altough the power suppply it came with is only 1 amps, wich is not a whole lot if you want to use all 7 ports, its still better than no power supply at all. The central multi-color blinking led is kind of anoying .. put it upside down if you cant stand it ;) USB upstream cable is lilke 12 inches long.. too short.

Pros: it works great as a usb hub. i use it for my printer, cd burner, microphone, card reader, and external hard drive.

Cons: it is not high speed like advertised, but speed isn't usually an issue for me and even when it is i just plug it in directly. printers don't need high speed so i'm good there too.

Other Thoughts: the bright colors tend to get annoying and flashy, but i unplug it when not in use...

Bottomline: this works as a great usb hub if time is not an issue. if you're like me and don't mind screwing around on my computer for up to 4x the total transfer time, then this is a good buy.

Pros: Not USB 2 but did come with an adapter and works good for mice and other

Cons: not USB 2.0,at least vista ultimate doesn't recognize it as USB 2. It was showing it was when I ordered it.

Other Thoughts: Lights are annoying but it's a good hub for 1.1

Bottomline: If you need 7 ports not USB 2 get it it's cheap
