Great fun for the five year old!

Pros: Great fun for my five year old son. He loved it and shases it around his bedsheet. You get two packs of six beans each. Twelve in total. Nice mixed colors. You can reconfigure the colors by taking the beans apart.
I had these when I was a kid, and these works just as well.
 
Cons: They are quite brittle and you cant throw them around to much. They are made of gelatine and if they get wet they will go soft and stop working.
 
Other Thoughts:  
Bottomline: Quite cheap acctually. Only 22 cents each makes them a great addition to a goodiebag for the birthday party.
