Short, cheap, but has draw-backs

Pros: Short, light, cheap.

This is the reason to buy such cable. 
Cons: It takes too much force to plug in iPhone end. The USB side plug is  normal, but iPhone dock plug - somehow too-far from original. Also - for some reason this particular cable does not work with iPhone dock (also from HK, bought on e-bay, not DX). Interestingly, in cable+Dock combination this cable charges iPhone, but can not sync. Without Dock it charges and syncs.

Bottomline: Cheap cable. 

The price reflects quality. 

Do not expect too much, you almost always get what you paid for.

Pros: You buy this one because you hate all the wires on your desk. This is the one you are looking for if you have a macbook pro or other laptop. It is also very nice if you connect this one to a iPod/iPhone dock, so the iPod or iPhone is next to you laptop, it looks very clean and nice.

Cons: There is one big con I think, I had to force it into my iPod Nano and iPhone 3G. It has damaged both of them, a very very little bit! You almost can't see it with your eyes, but I want to tell it.

Other Thoughts: This is a great gadget, nobody has it, and its very useful!

Bottomline: Get one, or get more, it's very cheap. Give them to your friends! Thanks DX

Pros: This is an update to my previous review.  I had to modify the dock connector using a dremel because the "keyed" metal tabs were not well made (a knock on build quality).  Before it would not even start to slide into any dock I own but now it works perfectly!  Very awesome form factor.
 
Cons: none, once the dock connector was fixed.
 
Other Thoughts: I should have bought two or three. :)
 
Bottomline: be prepared for some mod work.  But it looks like most people are not having problems.  Just buy one.

Great Product - could improve on consistency

Pros: Perfect for linking up to the laptop at work without messing about with a 1.2m long cable that requires coiling and uncoiling
 
Cons: The build consistency is a bit iffy. The first one I bought fit my 16Gb 3GS (black) perfectly. However the next few I bought couldn't fit my wife's white 3GS. I had to pass her the first piece that I bought, which had been used a number of times with my black 3GS. I think there is some slight tolerance or dimension problem with the plastic at the edges of the ipod/iphone connector that cause the issue.
 
Other Thoughts:  
Bottomline: Great product, very handy but you might have encounter slight difficulty in inserting the connector.
sku.19148 has a great connector with the spring release catch (which the old ipods used to have). They should get that connector and put it on a 12 cm cable!
