Pros: Very high sound quality, simple use. The sound quality is at least twice as good as an FM transmitter. There is almost no background sound. I personally hate listening to broadcast radio, and this is a great solution.
Cons: The one i received would only output sound on one side. I took it apart, re soldered the connections, and even changed the cords. I had no luck fixing the product. The white cord does not look that good against the black interior.
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline: Buy one today. If your car does not have an AUX in port these are just as good. Great if you like to bring your mp3 player in the car with you.
Pros: Very easy to use. A closed system means no interference unlike from passing FM transmitters in other automobiles. Also, no frequencies to set. Good sound quality. Doesn't hog the cigarette lighter power source. Very affordable.
Cons: Might not be the most convenient way to route your cables in the automobile. Depending on the setup, transmitters might be a neater setup for your situation. The white colour may not suit the colour scheme inside the automobile.
Bottomline: This is a very simple and affordable way of using a modern music player in an older automobile.
Pros: - So much cheaper than similar products offered at Circuit City, etc.- Good sound quality
Cons: - Nothing wrong with the product; just wish that it would come with in black? Looks kind of odd having a white wire dangling out of your stereo.
Other Thoughts: I bought two of these for each car, both of em work fine. Perfect for hooking up mp3 devices to your car sound system. Both still running strong after a few months of everyday use.
Bottomline: If you need a device like this, you should definitely buy this - it's a solid product that shouldn't be overlooked.
Pros: Perfectly good cassette adapter, does what it's supposed to do. If you still have a car with a cassette player, this is the best way to play your mp3 through the car speakers. Way cheaper and more reliable than those FM transmitters.
Cons: No cons. These always make a little noise from the tape mechanics but no big deal.
Other Thoughts: First tried to get it locally at a major electronics chain but they wanted $20. I hesitated and they dropped it to $15. Said no thanks. When I found dealextreme I couldn't believe what the store wanted for the SAME BRAND same item!
Bottomline: Great price and it works.
