Great sound, no dramas

Pros: Sounds really good, better than commercial FM radio stations.
It's easy as to use, just plug it into a headphone jack, then put it in your tape player.
Stereo! Many, if not most, I don't know, FM transmitters are only mono.


Cons: Nothing that should stop anyone from buying one. The cassette is rattly, feels very cheap. But really who cares, I leave mine in my car's tape player, never moves.
Disappointing that it's only available in white, but to state the bleeding obvious they're going for the iPod "look". Black would be a lot nicer though, so that it blends into it's surroundings, the white cord is pretty conspicuous across my dashboard.


Other Thoughts: I was tossing up between this and a mini FM transmitter - I made the right choice. The transmitter would have needed batteries, which I'd have to keep buying more of, or taken up the cigarette adapter, sure I could get one of those adapter splitter things but that'd look really messy.


Bottomline: Great price, crystal clear sound. As long as you don't mind it being white (or just colour it with a texta!) you can't go wrong with this. It's turned my GPS PNA into a jukebox! Goodbye tinny 1 watt speaker...

Pros: Great cheap adapter with great sound quality. So easy to use, just stick it in the cassette player and plug the jack into whatever you want to get your music from. My wife uses it in her car with her MP3 player and she is very happy with it.


Cons: No cons as far as we are concerned, has been working well.


Other Thoughts:

Bottomline: If you are after a cheap way to play music through a cassette head unit in your car like we are this is a good choice. We recommend it, another great deal from dealextreme!

Pros: -sounds great, even the bass is good!
-cheap! all I could find retail or on ebay were around 10 bux without shipping! and DX is free shipping and no tax! cant beat that!
-easy to use, hook up my crap, hit play, and turn on the tape player.
-I'm using this in my car and I leave it in there all the time even though its HOT here , around 100's in the summer, but this thing is still working great!
-Have used this with ipod, mp3 player, DS, phone, and more it all works great!
-wire is nice and long, if you want to keep the device hooked up out of sight.


Cons: -none


Other Thoughts: -OK i've tested this thing with alot of devices. Thus it seems that some of the crappier devices (nameless mp3 players that cost 10 $) do not output decent sound on this. It might sound good with your headphones but you will need something like an ipod or a good mp3 player to get great sound from this thing. So if it sounds crappy check ur device it might only be suited for shitty headphone output.


Bottomline: -if you got a casset player if your car and you want to play some GOOD music just get this, atleast people wont bother to break into your car to jack your 100 $ CD player.

Pros: - Perfect if you have a car stereo that is designed for you car and it doesn't have an aux input or MP3 capabilities.
- Sound is really good. Not CD quality but a lot better than using an FM transmitter.
- I've got a portable handfree cable to my mobile phone with detachable earphones so I can also use this for my mobile phone. The fact that my mobile phone works as a really good mp3 player and takes M2 cards doesn't make the situation worse. And if I get an incoming call I can just let it through and use the stereo as a handsfree device.
- Easy to use... No buttons, no controls, just a 3.5mm plug.


Cons: - I was disappointed at the sound quality at first until I realized that I needed to give the adapter an extra push to fit correctly in the cassette player. Once correctly seated it sounds really good.
- It's white, the cable is white... I would have prefered a more discrete color like black or gray.


Other Thoughts: Keep in mind that if your mp3 player has different equalizer settings you may want to turn it off since your car stereo likely have it's own settings. For most situations I believe it is best to give the stereo a "clean" input.


Bottomline: Can't go wrong with this one.
