Pros: - It's cheap- It's very useful for connecting two male usb plugs.- I use it on my nokia n800 to connect pen drives and keyboards on it.
Cons: - The build quality is OK but could be better.
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline: If you have a nokia n800 this is something worth having, there's a lot of devices that can be connected into n800's usb otg port, you just need this, usbcontrol installed and sometimes (depending on the peripheral you're trying to plug in) a powered usb hub to give extra power to the device you're trying to connect into the n800. It worked w/o the need of a powered hub on some thumbdrives and a keyboard i tested it. I recommend it.
Pros: - It works well to connect two USB devices together- I use it on my Nokia N800 to connect a USB keyboard to a micro USB cable that fits on the device- You can use this to extend a USB connection for example plug in female side of one cable and plug in female side of another and you have just doubled the reach of your USB connection.
Cons: - Build quality is ok but there are some plastic flash marks... nothing serious but not perfect
Other Thoughts: - It would be nice if maybe other colors were available but other than that this device does what it says and works.
Bottomline: Good if you need one of these connectors. Would be an amazing deal if it were less than a buck but I am not complaining.
Pros: They say a picture is worth a thousand words. What can I write about this that cannot be understood by looking at the pictures. This coupler allows you to connect two usb cables together. This can be useful in a few cases when you need to connect two different cables together. Also, I have tested it and it is USB2 compatible
Cons: None really.
Other Thoughts: These small couplers are hard to find in the local market. DX is a perfect place to shop for such things.
Bottomline: Get this if you are amongst the few who has use for this
