Pros: Very useful and works really well. It works on Linux but requires ndiswrapper or a make install if you want to go that route (the drivers on the CD work fine, but here's a link to download it if you need it: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/3087441/usbwirelessdriver/usbwirelessdriver.tar.bz2 note that this should work for Windows XP as well).
The installation CD makes installing the driver a snap on Windows as well.

Cons: Gets hot.
Not super cheap or free :3

Other Thoughts: I don't have a wireless N router, but I know for a fact it does detect wireless N routers around my neighborhood.

Bottomline: This is perfect.

Pros: Bought this one for my AC Ryan PlayonHD. It is one of the few that is supported except for the much pricier official stick. Because my streamer has limited network performance because of the firmare and chipset contraints, the stick didn't need to be really fast (It is a 150N stick so this means it works with only 1 channel, real N works with 3). It worked immediately, installation was very simpel. Connected with my Linksys WRT54G2 nicely.

Cons: Build Quality is a bit cheap.I think it will break after a few months if you get it out frequently. But in my media streamer this is not the case. But I won't complain for this price.

Bottomline: If you don't have to get it out frequently (for a desktop / media streamer) .. this is a great stick.

Pros: The adapter looks great and very compact.I was looking into getting one with external antennas but took a chance with this adapter. Its very powerful and receives a strong signal even when at a distance. Installs without a problem on windows 7 and XP. nice utility that comes with it.

Cons: Price could be a little cheaper.

Other Thoughts: Haven't checked it out on Linux yet even thought it comes with drivers.

Bottomline: Get it in any case - the next generation of wireless is N so you might as well have the adapter that goes with it.

Pros: Works like expected after drivers install: flawless!
I'm using it with a B/G access point, but grabbing 100% of my internet link bandwidth like using an UTP cable!
The RaLink drivers software it's very interesting for IT staff to measure the signal strenght, very intuitive and simple to use!

Cons: I still guess that it may become cheaper. The N protocol is not a geek impulse "I must have it..", its just a matter of time to become the new standard for wireless (until WiFi Maxx don't arrive)

Other Thoughts: Ok, the N standard deals differently with antenna concepts, so external antenna would become messy (3 external antennas on a USB adapter? it would be very weird!)

Bottomline: I bought it becouse it's just U$1 more that another B/G good usb adapter I found here, so was a very good bet.
After all, I must test it with a real N access point. Until then, it's just like a normal B/G adapter to me.
I'm ready for the next generation, a valueable buy!
