Pros: PROS WOW >.>
OKAY ! well.. its an awesome little thing. Fits right in your hand, really light. Works great off an Ni-Mh/Cd 1.2v rechargeable, same with a standard alkaline 1.5v. but with a 14500 li-ion HOLY CRAP LOL this thing for under 12 bux (AUD) is .. awesome. Above average build quality, CHEAP, came lubed, sturdy anodized finish, the lense felt like glass, but isnt. STILL GOOD ! GREAT THROWER like the last person mentioned. with a 14500, i can easily shine up to 50m +. at 50m, the spotlight is about 3m diameter. which is awesome. What to say, its bright, cheap, super cool at night (easily see beam) V_V lightsaber. haha ;p
very useful flood to throw.
Cons: CONS.. . nothing really.
well with a 14500 it does get warm, but the heat dissipates in your hand quickly. With a standard 1.5v battery, the colour has a green/yellow tinge, but with a 14500, its so bright you dont notice. In full throw, the beam is shaped like the emitter, which is quite ugly.. but no matter. The clicky is not very well made, its wobbly, and repeated pressing hurts your thumb. but acceptable.
Opened it up, there hardly any contact with the pill, so heat transfer isnt that good for a 14500. but acceptable. Pill was of adequate quality with LOTS of chips where the driver goes. O:
Tempered steel o-ring (friction) for the zooming gets annoying, easily fixed by replacing it with a silicone o-ring i had. *ty for tip other guy* perfectly smooth and strong now.
THE LENSE. it can get loose and wobbly after a few drops (this thing kills drops btw) so dropping it or too much shock will make it loose. i just tightened it and put some superglue. If its loose IT WILL LET WATER IN!
but hey, this thing... CHEAP + AWESOME I SHOULDNT BE COMPLAINING GAHHH !
Other Thoughts: like someone mentioned before, it would be great to have a larger brighter model, with the same optics as this. I can imagine a 900+ lumen floof to throw. MUAHAHAHAHAHA blind people ;p nah jk
if you have enough money to buy some 14500's and a charger, GO AHEAD> i did and its bloody awesome i tell ya. its like a mini lightsaber at night, and i shine it into te fish tank its even more lightsaberish. LOL
Bottomline: bottomline. Great thing for price. great quality for price. great light for price, free lightsaber qualities. :D
any spare o-rings? swap it for the crappy steel friction ring thing. trust me it turns and slides much better. also, if all the o-rings are in place it is waterproof. dropped it into a tub about 30cm for 30 minutes. took it out perfectly fine. If you have some thermal paste, maybe apply a ring inside the pill against the emitter heatsink, it might help. i did. ;p
Q3 emitters get quite hot !
I was thinking of swapping it for a p4. but i cbb... :D
want a good light for cheap! THIS ONE HERE HELLOOOOOO !
i was so excited i payed 19 bux for express. LOLOLOL got to me in 4 days. YOU GUYS SAID 5-7 !!! O:
even better ;p

Pros: I'll cut to the chase: it works off a 14500!
I did put an AA in there but once I powered it off a 14500 I can't even be bothered to take it out and check whether the driver's fried :-)
With a 14500 it truly is a pocket light sabre, especially in a smoky/foggy environment. The throw approaches the territory of the Uniquefire HS-802B (sku 16538) and is easily at par with (if not better than) the Romisen RC-C6 (1xCR123A).
Flood is fine too - a nice round even spot of light. I found the flood spot smaller and less bright than the RC-C6.
Comes along with an ok holster that you should be able to use with the UF C3 or RC-G2.
The sub-$10 price is a real treat.
Cons: Build quality could be better, but what do you expect at this price point?
The lens retractor is not terribly smooth and could benefit from some oiling.
Clicky is unconventional and juts out the behind. Doesn't appear to be too robust.
Other Thoughts: Works perfectly with the Trustfire 14500 (sku 26124). Someone commented these don't fit, but mine do perfectly.
Bottomline: Great value for money and introduction to throwers if you're prepared to put up with an entry-level build quality and spend extra on a 14500 battery.

Pros: This little torch is bright as hell for what it is! Focus is very simple and accurate. The lens on mine felt like glass.
Host casing is very well made. All the threads on mine were clean and smooth and came lubed from the factory.
As bright as it was with an AA battery it was even brighter with a 14500 Li-ON in it.
Comes with a neat little nylon holster.
Cons: - The flashlight with a strap not inserted into the case
- The lens is scratched on the inner side
Other Thoughts: A low power mode might increase battery life even more and be easier on the eyes for close work. Internal reflector sections appear a bit rough - I wonder if a mirrored finish inside would be more efficient and increase the throw?
Also have a similar 3x AAA zooming flashlight (sku.18697), but batteries don't seem to last as long and it's heavier and chunkier.
Bottomline: A lot of torch for very little money.

Pros: This is a small pocket size zoom-able spotlight. It spreads the light incredible even and you can easily zoom in and out. It works fine as a powerful small pocket light. The light is warm.
Cons: It should be available in a bigger size as well, with 18650 cell.
Other Thoughts: It reminds me about video light, in the way it spreads the light and the zoom functions. The difference is that lamps that are made for video cameras are much more powerful, cost much, much more, and they are made for being attached to a camera. Still, i am tempted to attach this to a camcorder in any way, and i might use multiple lamps to get plenty of power.
Bottomline: My dream is to find a bigger and more powerful lamp with 18650 cell, with the same kind of optic as this torch.
