Pros: 1. works with most roms2. not spring loaded (something less that can break)3. supports up to 2gb microSD4. comes with stylus and usb card reader for microSD5. fits in NDS no with minimal problems
Cons: 1. i've seen better interfaces2. doesn't play video's/music like other cards3. enabling cheats needs some playing with4. not a lot of technical support out there unlike the more popular brands
Other Thoughts: i prefer the TT cards - haven't had any issues with them
Bottomline: the only reason i bought this card is because it was this or the R4 and at the time r4 was phased out.this one is also cheaper than the other mainstream ones
Pros: I originally was apprehensive about this cart brand, but it seems to be one of the better albeit less popular ones. I haven't had a single issue running games on the current firmware. You just have to make sure you get the latest, 1.90 beta release. I tried the 1.87 or whatever the latest "stable" one was and no game I tried would save.
Cons: Like I said, you just have to make sure you get the latest 1.90 beta firmware. This is very unclear as there are no instructions and no software bundled with the device. I had formatting issues as well, as it would not even load the first couple tries. Even with community help this was fairly unclear, I kind of found my own way. This is all behind me now, with good firmware and a good formatter tool, I'm doing great and enjoying the cart.
Other Thoughts: A useful tip would be to track down the Panasonic SDFormatter software to format your microSD chip. The Windows utility is terrible and slow.
Bottomline: Get the latest firmware, and the SDFormatter, and a decent microSD chip. I keep reading varying statements that this does or does not take SDHC chips. I have not tested this, but my 2gb Kingston SD-C02G chip holds more than enough. If you really need more then go ahead and try, but I don't know if the supplied microSD-usb adapter takes SDHC.This cartridge works if you can figure out what to do to make it work. Once you do its golden.
Pros: CheapEasy to useSide-loading slot for the Micro SD card
Cons: UnreliableSlownot too sure about the sticker on the front - I suppose it can be removed.
Other Thoughts: This card is unreliable. Some games won't load at all, others crash when a save is taking place. Seems to be a bit slow too. Such a shame
Bottomline: If you want an Ez-Flash card, get the V Plus. I've owned one of them for a while and it's a far better card. This card's been a big disappointment - I can't rely on it. I hope a firmware update will eliminate the problems.
Pros: -Plays backup games-Plays homebrew games-Works really nice and easy
Cons: -Build quality wasn't the best. I own the IV, and they was a sticker over the other side of the cartridge, and it really looked cheap.-Updates from the website are really slow to download.
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline: Really nice adapter, uses microSD cards, love it.Works well, would definitely buy again. I bought 4 for me and my friends, and no one had problems with it. I've got mine for over a year now, and it still works as good as day 1.
