Ownership verified by DX Charger works, cable doesn't

Pros: The USB wall charger works just fine, however the USB cable doesn't even plug into it, or into a standard USB port on a computer. The charger looks like an apple charger, same quality and everything.

Cons: The USB cable is completely useless, the USB side of things (not the apple connector) doesn't plug into a USB port. The cable looks cheap, feels cheap, and acts cheap.

Other Thoughts:

Bottomline: Charger = Good, Cable = Bad. Buyer beware. I would see about getting one at a local store instead, at least then it doesn't cost shipping to try and return it

Pros: - If you are thinking of buying an adapter where you dont need to use the computer and only use the wall. This is a semi-perfect product(if you own an iphone/itouch). It would be perfect for iPods without the touch screen.
- It still charges the itouch 1st gen I have.

Cons: - Like other reviews said, it ruins the calibration of the itouch.

Other Thoughts: If you have an iPod Touch 1st gen. The screen calibration works well with a fire-wire adapter. I currently own a wall adapter that outputs into a firewire cable. If you own such a product, it will solve the screen problem. I got my firewire cable from a ipod video I got. (I put this in here for those who had the problem.) It completely fixes the problem. I dont know if it works with iphone/touch 2/3g. But it's logical that it does fix it.

Bottomline: - If you own any of the iPods except the itouch and iphone, then buy this. It works well with those.
- It still charges iphone/itouch either way. So if you can put up with the calibration, then buy this.

Pros: In my opinion it's a good product and it's working since I bought it in December/2009.
It comes with a plastic box, which was delivered broken due the transportation. No issues with that.

Cons: I have no issues with my charger so far.
Price could be better.

Other Thoughts: It comes with a USB cable identical to my original one. It's very simple to use.
I've been using for months, and no issue.
The temperature is OK and it works properly.
IPOD is still working fine after several recharges.

Bottomline: Price could be better, but it's a good product. I had no issues with my IPOD Nano so far.

Pros: The purpose of this product is to able the charging of an ipod without the need for a computer. This is a great product to have, if it were a little better built, or for the quality, a little cheaper.

Cons: 1) price does not match the quality: The entire outer layer is made up of this cheat, brittle plastic, which is far from the original apple one I got with my iPod
2) Messes up the battery: This I actually am not sure if it's because my ipod is too old or the cord is screwing with it...or both. When I plug the ipod in, the charging process stops at 87%, and the battery icon display that the battery is full, but the number beside it says 87%. Then I unplugged it and plugged it into the computer, it charged fine.
3) does plug all the way in: The little plug cube and the data cord does not plug in all the way, which means it can easily fall...nothing too big just thought I'd through it out there

Other Thoughts: It would be nice if the cord was longer. I understand that the cord is the standard Apple Data Cord length, but it would make so much more sense if it were longer and I can use my ipod in bed while it's plugged in to the wall near the floor.

Bottomline: -Obviously much cheaper than the original cord
-much better to have the wall plug in than have to keep the computer on all the time, or use a stand charger. You can hold it in your hands while not waste energy keeping the computer on
-My havent broke yet...maybe it's because I just got it...but, the quality of the plastic ends...terrible
