Pros: This thing is awesome. I love the build quality, feels just like a normal DS cart. Interface is easy to use and I love that my six year old can't pull out and lose a memory card. All in all I'm ecstatic with this purchase. Packaging is nice and it's perfect for resale.
Cons: Even though this thing is so easy to use, I would have liked some level of instructions (a small sheet of paper would do it) to increase confidence in first use.
Other Thoughts: Do yourself a favour and backup the files on the card to your computer for when (not if) you need to format the card. Just dump your .nds rom files into the root directory and you're ready to go...
Bottomline: Well worth the purchase, best choice for small kids who would play with TF cards...
Pros: Pretty good cart. Worked with almost everything I threw at it.
Cons: Well I said ALMOST everything, that's because a certain game (PES iirc) just wrecked havoc once I launched it. It played pretty well first time it launched, but I couldn't save. So i decided to restart the DS, once I did, the cart was corrupted and I had to REFLASH IT! Thought it was just that one file but another copy of the same game did the same thing. Another game that I can't remember also had the same effect...
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline: Apart from the two games, everything worked very well and I'm pretty happy with the performance.
Pros: I bought this to read a preloaded multi-card I purchased from a site before I new how easy it was to work with DS ROMs.Unlike a previous reviewer, I got all the right parts with the right connectors.
Cons: The USB cable seems about as cheap as it gets (too flexible) but it works.
Other Thoughts: This was a great way to backup and/or load slot 1 cartridges that don't use removable flash. Just load the slot 2 cartridge and select USB interface on the firewire screen. WinXP sees it as an external drive.
Bottomline: If you have old style slot one cartridges without removable flash, this is a great way to read them. Bonus is that is comes with a 1GB cartridge of its own.
Pros: when working very easy to use, my kids are able to trandfer the games by them selves
Cons: i have purchased loads of these with no problems, HOWEVER my last shipment contained the wrong items - the usb cable is mini usb with a MALE connector, and the slot 2 transfer cartridge also has a MALE connector!!. I have tried a cable from a previous batch (female) i still cant get the ds to be recognised by the pc. When i use a different slot 2 cartridge it works ok, so the actual firecard is ok. I have sent numerous emails to DX to report this but i still havn't had a reply.
Other Thoughts: Wont be ordering anymore until this problem is sorted out by DX
Bottomline: Good value product when working.Supplier needs to check the contents are correct before shipping.DX need to reply to customer's emails promptly
