Pros: Great product! Big digits for those who cant see well (or if you wake up at night and need to know the time). This can give you temperature, alarms, date and countdown timer! The colors that change are also a cool effect, and makes you hit the button just for fun sometimes. Really looks good with the colorful light if the room is dark.Easy to use, Celsius and Fahreinheit are supported. 12 hour and 24 hour clock also.8 alarm tones!
Cons: The only thing negative is the sound level for the alarm tones. They are very high, and you will probably jump out of bed!
Other Thoughts: Great product for the price!
Bottomline: If you need a clock on your bedroom / other room--> get it. Temperature, date, alarm, time, light and countdown!!!
Pros: Too nice extra big display with visible numbers even for a semi-blind (as me, for instance!).You access rotationally all the resources of this apparatus, only by touching and pressing softly the display: hour, temperature, date, alarm and timer. You can see the temperature in F° or in C° and you can either view the hour in 12/24 formats. The color transition is very impressive and can be configured to return for default LCD colors, for energy savings.Easy to configure (though, I consider, as many others, the panel put bellow of the clock hard to access).
Cons: Display angle viewing is poor, say, after 30° you can see next to nothing (it seems display problem, though, nothing related to the clock itself);Panel buttons in the bottom (no pan of words). It turns difficult to configure and these buttons could be as common as in some radio-alarm-clocks, stylish big buttons on the front of the clock (basis). It uses AAA batteries (could be AA, cause space onto the basis seems not to be a problem) Others have said it consumes to much, but it is not what I see, cause I have this alarm-clock for almost two months and I have not yet changed batteries (I use rechargeable batteries for a bunch of devices, for ecological concerns). Anyway, to use AA instead of AAA did be a good choice)...It could be sold with colour options beside this bleach ice-like, red or scarlet, by example.
Other Thoughts: I have buy two of these, one for me, as I need too much to use alarm clock to maintain my appointments (my circadian cycle is a trash!) and one for my brother that has the same problem to wake up. I am very happy with this acquisition.
Bottomline: It woths each cent employed. I did need an alarm clock and this has fulfilled my expectations on everything I needed. I only implore on knees to you to use rechargeable batteries, not only for this beautiful device, but every situation where you can aid to preserve the nature and our “Bela Terra”, beautiful earth.
Pros: - Nice design.- Pressing on the top of display tilts it backward and switches the display between: Clock, Temp, Date, Alarm and Timer. Display tilt is spring loaded. Feels nice. Congrats to designer for tilt.- 12 and 24 hour clock modes.- Colors are surprisingly soothing.
Cons: - Display viewing angle is defective. Initially cannot see numbers if looking at it from below 90 degrees to display angle. After a week I can only see numbers if looking down on it from above. Useless for bedside application where night stand is at or above head/pillow position.- Thermometer not very accurate but within 2 degrees F.- Music is worse than awful. A simple bleep...bleep...bleep would have been better. Sadly, that is NOT one of the options.
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline: If display hadn't gotten worse with use I would say it was worth the money...but now it is so badly faded and hard to read...don't waste your money.
Pros: - The design is actually not bad- I like the idea of the whole display being a mode change button- The LCD angles are not too bad, but could definitely be improved (esp. the vertical ones)
Cons: - The colors shift all the time - I hoped they would indicate a specific mode- The thermometer is not very accurate- The alarm songs are lame- To set the alarm, one must lift the clock and use the buttons under it
Other Thoughts: - The display is not actually transparent
Bottomline: - Sadly, the cons outbalance the pros.
