* easy to plant.
* easy to take care of.

Cons: * the message fall after about a month.
* take over all the garden.

Other Thoughts: just plant it inside regular soil, and give it a lot of water.
in the beginning you may think that its not gonna grow, but after a week or two, it will grow up at once, and before you'll notice,you could shot a scene from the movie "Little Shop of Horrors".

Bottomline: i have never seen such fast growing.
although the massage fall, i still enjoy the big stalk and leafs.
great as a gift.

Pros: It's nice to see it growing. They grow very fast with enough water. It's just a small green plant with no flowers.

Cons: I got 4 times the same message. It is random so hopefully you get 10 different ones. Ordered this with the 50mW green laser. Custom saw this on a scan and wanted to check it out because they thought it was drugs. Because of this they found the laser and rang my dad. Still got the laser though.

Other Thoughts: They die quick when left in the sun. Half sun/half shadow would be the best.
They are boring, it's just a plant and after you have seen it twice you don't bother anymore.

Bottomline: Fun for your kids. Let them grow their own plants.

Pros: Great product AFTER it starts working....I could not find any directions anywhere with the product or on the internet explaining how long it takes to grow this bean. I took a random guess but was off by a week so my gift was just a box of dirt until it actually came up out of the ground. The words I love you were clear on one side but a little fadded on the other but overall the product looked great.

Cons: I bought this item as a little present for a coworker. It never grew! After 5 week i digged it out and it was rotten. I know for fact that i did not overwater it, i had grown those beens before. Will never buy again.

Bottomline: These are a great gift idea. I have to be honest though...I did not buy one. What I did though, was rip the idea off from this add, purchased the makings of this neat little thing off, and made them myself. Using nice old scrap lumber from an old barn, some wood burning tools and glue, I was able to make a very nice container. The beans can be purchased quite cheaply from most seed catalogs and a bag of potting soil works just fine. They were great gifts for my nieces and nephews. If you are not inclined to make your own though, these are a very nice gift and I suppose the price is not all that bad. DO TAKE NOTE: WARNING: The Canavalia Gladiate, or sword bean, an African inport, can be toxic and if you grow the bean to maturity, it MUST be specially prepared. I have never done the necessary research as I have never had a great desire to eat the things, but do remember this if you give it to children!

Pros: I liked very much. It is very cool. I planted 3 units and all grew up. I'll post the photos. To plant the beans I used a glass with moistened cotton, when grew I transfered two plants to a pot with soil and other plant to the garden.

Cons: None. It is very nice and funny. Dealextreme.com is trust.

Other Thoughts: I am from Brazil and the first package did not arrive, but dealextreme sent another and it is ok. I bought the white magic beans too and they arrived today. The packet arrived in 21 days, 17 business days, now I want to buy other products.
