Value for money

Pros: Rather cheap for a iPod/iPhone dock. Bought this for my iPod touch, saved a ton of money from buying an original product
Sound from the line out is good too. Able to play through my speakers without any problem =)
 
Cons: Have to force my iPod Touch in so that it would start charging. A slight move of the iPod while it is still in dock might cause it to lose connectivity and in turn might damage the battery life. Have to position it in a slight manner so that my itouch would charge. Might have been due to it being built for iPhone.
 
Other Thoughts: If you decide to put your ipod touch on the dock and not move it, or touch it, then maybe it is good to have one. Maybe a little figuring out on how to best position it would  make you a happy customer =)
 
Bottomline: A money worth spent I guess...

Good but tricky

Pros: -The dock is really nice visually, it has a good size and fits anywhere on your workspace
-The line out fucntion is pretty cool if you want to charge your iPod and listen to some music at the same time, but pretty useless since you usually plug the line out in your computer or laptop
-The base of the dock sticks to the desk so it doesn't slip
-The dock has a good weight so it stays up the whole time your iPod/iPhone is on it
 
Cons: -My iPod Touch 2G doesn't connect really well on it, I need to move it and try to fit it a couple times before it recognizes that there is something connected to the dock but I guess they were made for iPhones
-The iPod cable is pretty hard to connect the first time and needs to be plugged with the sign facing the desk but that's pretty minor
 
Other Thoughts: Really good dock , you will pay a lot more in stores if you want this kind of dock.
 
Bottomline: Buy it, you won't regret it :)
 
					

Cheap black dock

Pros: Charging works with a 3GS on iOS 4.
Solid rubbery anti-slip feel.
Super-cheap, looks cool with a black iPhone.
 
Cons: Audio doesn't work with 3GS on iOS 4.
Connector goes in upside down.
3.5 mm jack doesn't fit Line Out cleanly, has to be forced in. Even then, audio doesn't work (at least not in my unit with 3GS on iOS 4).
Fits just the bare phone, any covers etc. will need to be removed.
Have to push down the phone to make it fit i.e. doesn't "smoothly glide in".
 
Other Thoughts:  
Bottomline: If you just want it to charge, get it. Tested with 3GS on iOS 4.

Pros: The dock is very cool, normal quality. Other pro thing is that the color of it is black so it fits to my black iphone much. Charger and audio plug works normal. Under it is white gum which is good because it doesn't slide easily.
 
Cons: -Not best built quality, but still good.
-sometimes hard to pot iPhone on
I guess and hope that there's no more cons.:D
 
Other Thoughts: -Good design                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         
-Copy of Apples dock
-Good for potting alarm on for a night
-Normal charger
-Audio played(if have speakers)aswell
 
Bottomline: If u need a iPhone dock and u don't like apples prices(or want a black dock), buy it from dealextreme. Thank you guys for good work.
