Overall Rating: starstarstar

Pros: -Cheap
-Really compact
-Takes off easily
-Fast when it's going upwards.

Cons: -CHEAP build quality
-REALLY hard to control
-My copter lost it's ability to turn right after 5 minutes.
-Could come with an european charger
-Hard to turn it the way you want.

Other Thoughts: I live in Norway, so i just took a simple flat-to-round plug to charge my helicopter.
What i didn't notice was that it required 110v AC, and in Norway we got 230v AC.
After a few minutes alot of smoke was coming from the charger. It was destroyed so i can't use this helicopter no more, but it's broken anyway.

Bottomline: Nice if you want to play for 5-10 minutes i guess.

Ownership verified by DX Wel, it lifts anyway.

Pros: Really cheap.
Easy to get lift off.
Easy to land.

Cons: Does not move in air. Only lifts and lowers. The rear propeller is quite useless as a way of propulsion forward or backwards. The helicopter just hovers. I had to melt the barket for the rear motor and turn it 90 degrees so it can be used as a propeller and thereby towing the helicopter slowly forward or backwards.

Charger is for USA/Japan only.

Other Thoughts: Dont crash. The rotor is very fragile, but if your lucky it can be fixed with some scotch tape and some superglue.

Bottomline: After some fixing and innovative solutions by me it flew. Then it crashed into a bookshelf and broke. I will order a spare rotor on my next DX shipment.

Ownership verified by DX Great price for a great Heli

Pros: I own one of the brand name radio shack heli's that this is based on. This one flies much the same as the $70 US version. Battery life also seems to be about the same. This one however has a much better charging solution as the AC adapter comes with it. At $30 this is a great buy!

Cons: You can only fly this indoors. The slightest wind will knock it off its course. The lights on this one blink and change colors. It's kinda annoying, but does not affect the flying.

Other Thoughts: This is a great deal at $30.

Bottomline: If you like heli's this is a fun indoor toy. Buy it and enjoy!

Ownership verified by DX Fun toy soon wears out and breaks.

Pros: Fun to fly and looks cool.
Nice responsive remote control system.
Easy to disassemble.
Replacement parts available on internet.
Motors, rotors and chargers can be swapped with other brands of mosquitos.
Flies for over 10 minutes before recharging.

Cons: Rotors and motors soon wear out and break easily.
Must be able to solder to replace motors.
Tail motor is not easy to rewire.
Requires constant adjustment go straight ahead (must compensate for tendancy to rotate).
Moves slowly and crashes easily.
Legs can break.
Battery is labelled as 180mAh.

Other Thoughts: Charger can be plugged into the Syma 608 mosquito to recharge it too (it has the same capacity battery).
Syma 608 rotors can be easily installed in this mosquito making it considerably faster, stronger and more stable.

Bottomline: Syma 608 has better rotors but the Alany mosquito has a more sensitive remote control system. They look cool and are not too easy to control but they are fun while they are working.
