Pros: This can be used to convert cheap AA batteries to D batteries.
You don't need to spend more money to buy D batteries now.
In fact, I'm using rechargeable batteries in this one, bcoz rechargeable D batteries tend to be very expensive. It has given me an alternative.
Another big advantage for THIS product is that you can fit two AA batteries in one shell, that increases the life.
 
Cons: not really. build quality maybe. but what could you expect for such an inexpensive item.
 
Other Thoughts:  
Bottomline: I'd buy this again if I were to buy D batteries.

Pros: good build quality
fits 2 x AA batteries
very usefull

Cons: none really, maybe sligtly bigger than normal D size battery ??

Pros: -   This will prevent to buy extra D-size + charger batteries
-   It work well to replace regular D-size battery
-   This is a step for environment and avoid extra polution with regular AA batteries
- you can even but only one AA battery instead of 2
 
Cons: - clasp is a little weak and will break some day, don't open and close it for nothing !
- voltage with AA battery is 1.2/1.3 volts while normal D-size is 1.5 V, that may potentialy makes problem but not in my case !
- the thing I really don't like: plastic casing not well designed and if you enter 2 AA batteries depending of size, IT MAY STAY STUCK INSIDE and will be a NIGHTMARE to remove !!
 
Other Thoughts: With picture you don't know if casing is made for 1 or 2 AA : it is made for 2 !!
 
Bottomline: very usefully, quality could have been a little bit higher for this price .. but I like it

- Well they work pretty good
- They can Handle One or two batteries per Item
? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
 
Cons: ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? 
- They are A bit Flimsy
- The item could be Cheaper
- The shape of the Case is not exactly the one of a Real D Battery so It can come that you cannot close the battery shaft but for my case I handled it.

- Watch out because at first I tried to put one battery per Case and I thought I could put it in the middle. But when you do this you end up with a stuck battery.

Bottomline: If you need those Cases then Buy Them because they will do The trick
