Ownership verified by DX Works like a charm.

Overall Rating: starstarstarstarstar

Pros: - tilt and swivel range is good
- automatic i-TTL and full manual
- full power seems to be available in automatic mode also (many flashguns don't support this)
- simple, intuitive interface
- mechanically identical to YN-460 (of which I already have three)

Cons: - could be a little more powerful
- the battery cover door could be a little easier to use, but it's still fairly good (better than many I've seen before)

Other Thoughts: When using this flash in TTL mode and bouncing the flash off of ceilings and walls, dial in +1.3 to +1.7 EV to expose to the right. I use a Fuji S5 and with its wide dynamic range it's sometimes difficult to get the exposure far enough to the right. Perhaps turning the dynamic range to "Auto" or something may do the trick.

Bottomline: It's cheap, it's built extremely well and it just works. If it had high speed sync and CLS, it'd be as good as the Nikon SB-600, but since I've never needed such functions in real life, I don't really see that as a problem. You can, after all, buy 4 of these for the price of one SB-600.
I'll probably buy one more, just to have a back-up during paid gigs.

Pros: Inexpensive flash, works with Nikon TTL, has bounce card and wide angle diffuser. Good recycle time.

Cons: The velvet bag it comes in has nothing to mount it on a camera bag.
No CLS.

Other Thoughts: At first I was scared to try it on my camera. I have been using an SB600, and was concerned using a non-Nikon flash. I used it on camera last weekend, it worked fine and my camera is still okay.
I was also scared to leave the batteries in, as I had read about other flashes malfunctioning. I have left the batteries in since I received it, and have had no problem.

Bottomline: This flash is much much cheaper than the SB-600, it doesn't have all the features, but it is worth buying.
