Ownership verified by DX Probably not 2800mAh - but it definitely works

Pros: This is a cheap and handy charger. Being USB powered you can put pretty much anywhere you want. Depending on game the charge will last between 3 and 5 hours. Definitely better than continually buying batteries for the wiimotes. Easy to insert/take out - no huge problems.

Cons: No big problems - charge isn't 2800mAh I would suggest, no support to my claim though. Comparing to some Nyko ones that I bought several years ago and are 2200mAh they have similar (although the Nyko ones are several years old now and must have lost some charge). USB charger is good - LEDs aroung are very bright - in a dark room stands out a lot! Sometimes is a little fiddly putting the wiimote in for charging - have to get the contacts just right for it to start charging...and then can easily come off charging with no notice. Had similar problem with Nyko ones though... unless you get the contactless style charger (which takes ages to charge) can't see way round this for now.

Bottomline: Good value for money - maybe lasts 3-4 hours on average but for me that's a good time to call a Wii session quite anyway. Contacts are fiddly but not frustrating at least.

Ownership verified by DX Wii oplaad station

Pros: It is a very handy charger to your Wii controllers and the batteries fit exactly in place and the batteries are strong enough to have a great distance to send good signals. The charging station is of good quality and you can plug into the USB drive of your wii

Cons: Er zijn niet veel dingen op te merken aan het pakket, behalve dat als je het veiligheids touwtje aan je contoller hebt dat deze er aan de voorkant uit hangen.

Other Thoughts: The charging station for my wii is a very useful accessory, especially by the included batteries! If I want to play the Wii I'm sure the batteries are full and I can play a long time.

Bottomline: -

Ownership verified by DX good thing

Pros: It works as it should, you get two rechargable battery packs and a twin charger unit.
The unit has a red light on each charging bay which turns blue when the batteries are charged.
You can also turn on a blue light in the base. (a Pro if you like pretty blue lights or want to use it as a night light), I just leave it turned off. the off switch is a Pro for me.

Cons: Can't charge the batteries with the skins on.
Supplied with a USB cable for power, which means you've either got to leave the Wii on or you need another USB power source.

Other Thoughts: I bought a cheap USB power source to power it (240v in - 6v out), not true USB voltage output but works well with this unit.
Don't know what the true rating of the batteries are but the kids have used the remotes for several hours strait.

Bottomline: If the above doesn't bother you its all good...
Mine's already well and truely paid for itself, compared to buying batteries, so if it dies now I'll get another.

Ownership verified by DX Nice item!

Pros: Great item, charged the Wiimotes like it should. Came with battery to put in Wiimote. Has blue and red light to let you know when it it charging and done charging.

Cons: Didnt hold charge as long as I would like. But thats not that bad, it holds charge decent enough.
Has a USB cord, which was kinda annoying, but I ended up plugging it into my computer, and that was fine.

Other Thoughts: Maybe they should have it with a standard outlet cord? That would be nice.

Bottomline: Buy this item! Its really great and you would be looking at spending around $20 for it at WalMart. Its great, no more trying to find a set of batteries that isnt dead.
