Pros: - only got it to work with my XP machine-It takes time to configure and understand but when you do its awesome....-connection is stable-it came well packaged-it does what it meant to do-Works with the PSP and NDS
Cons: -i wish i had instructions with it-very annoying and time consuming to configure-i could not figure how to configure this under linux :(
Other Thoughts: -it work in the end
Bottomline: Great product i wish it was cheaper and also it came with instructions but at the end of the day its quality and it does its job very well 4 stars (cause it took some time configuring)
Pros: -It works just fine on windows, had my Wii, and my DS connected to the internet and it has good speed.-It works for any wireless device, such as notebooks, palm-tops et cetera.
Cons: -It doesn't run on my linux (Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex) as there are no decent ZyDas linux drivers available with ap mode. And I tried hard, compiled loads of different drivers, with different parameters and it works only in station mode.
Other Thoughts: Works fine, but windows only.
Bottomline: Buy it if you only have a wired network and want to connect wireless stuff to it.
Pros: When you got it working it does its work greatThe connection is stableIt also can be used as a normal wlan stick to connect to a wlan
Cons: Not that easy to install as the manual says. You have to make some changes in the network configs. So don't get frustrated if it takes longer than you thought
Other Thoughts: All in all it's working great. I very much like it although it took me 5 hours to get it working. The manual should also include the network-configuring
Bottomline: If you know how to setup a wireless lan and also want to use a stick to play online you should buy that one. It's worth it's price
Pros: Turns your PC into a wireless access point.Allows connectivity WII and PPC and other Wifi enabled devices.Works with USB 1.1 or 2.0.Works with 802.11b and g.
Cons: Requires installation of drivers *before* inserting the dongle the first time.Tricky to set up if you have no prior experience with networking.
Other Thoughts: Follow the instructions in the user manual! The drivers do not install correctly if you put in the dongle before running the setup program on the CD.I don't know if anyone else has this problem, but I can't get the dongle to work if I boot up the PC with the dongle already insteted. Boot the PC first, then insert the dongle.Make sure you have "internet connection sharing" turned on for your internet connection. For me, XP automatically enabled a firewall and blocked all traffic for this device - must adjust your firewall settings to allow traffic through.
Bottomline: Cheap solution to get your Wii online if you don't have a wireless router.
