Ownership verified by DX BRIGHT! My brightest flashlight.

Pros: - Brightest flashlight I own. It's about double the output of my Surefire 100-Lumen flashlight. So I would say it has 150 Lumens easily.
- Parts easy to disassemble and remove. I actually took the emitter/reflector and put it in a 501B host because I liked the look better.
- Has clip
- Nice tight beam. With it's incredible beast like brightness (about 1.5x's that of the 501B CreeR2 Ultrafires) I can spot things hundreds of feet away with ease, and be able to light them up. Beam is so bright, it can be seen at night (especially foggy nights). Looks like a giant white lightsaber.

Cons: - Clip not the best out there. Doesn't fit into pocket with ease.
- Not the best looking host.

Other Thoughts: I am using two RCR123 batteries, I don't even have a 18650 battery. So it does work, and maybe that's why it's so stinking bright. But I have used it quite a lot and have had no problems pushing 7.2 - 8.4 volts with the two RCR123's.

Bottomline: This thing is a beast. With two RCR123's it is literally the brightest flashlight I have ever seen in my life. Not sure if I got a super-powerful emitter that isn't common with this flashlight...but it blew me away how bright it is.
I would suggest you buy it for that very reason, and stick the internals into another 2x's CR123 host and use RCR123's (unless you like the look of this one).

Ownership verified by DX big flashlight for big light !

Pros: First the built, very well done, little bit heavy in my hand, but there is a big battery there, a 18650. The metal clip will hold on because of it 2 screws. The lens is made of glass.

Cons: Wish they include a little pouch like my C3 cree light or at least a cord of some sort.

Other Thoughts: I've compared the C3 light (sku #1993) with this one. Both have a very nice light, but this one is more narrow and a more focussed beam, of course the size is not de same, but if the size don't matter for you then it is perfect choice over the C3.

Bottomline: This was a buy guess and i don't regret it!

Ownership verified by DX Heavy built like a tank, nice bright cree, + an R2

Pros: A nice heavy built light. The cree dropin was a little on the blue tint. The single contact switch was simple non-tabbed #5632. The body is heavy with metal clip. The lens is glass. The reflector is well made. The bezel is removable along to remove dropin.

Cons: Switch could be a dual contact to make a low light.

Other Thoughts:

Bottomline: This is a good starter light and host for my R2 drop now this mod rocks. The simple mod consisted of a new dual contact switch and a R2 drop in from another website. Thats all i changed. Above all the beg. product was good in the first place just wanted something way brighter. And yes fits blue 18650 nicely.

Pros: -Cheap!
-Tough!
-has clip
-nice looking light
-bright enough for daily use

Cons: -paint on clip not good, easily scratch
-inner tube too small for SKU 3287 it had to forced it in
but fit no problem with SKU 5790
-heavier than ultrafire c2

Other Thoughts: -easy to upgrade by drop in module
-It was dropped by an accident from 0.5 meter height and nothing happened even a scratch
It still working

Bottomline: -I've changed circuit board to SKU 7612 and emitter to SKU 2394
now it has multi modes
-I know that it save a little but I prefer upgrade by myself
-If you don't want to DIY it still being better choice by buy the instant module
