Pros: I guess it fits the PSP well, I bought it for selfmade projects.
It's a very decent joystick and you won't find anything compareable at this price.
Black
Cons: The soldering pads are under the device, so it won't be easy to use for your own projects.
Other Thoughts: Average resistance measurements can be found in the picture I uploaded - seems like pins 1+4 and pins 2+3 are a pair each.
BUT you could also use pins 2+3 and pins 3+4 (3 being connected to the common pin)
Bottomline: Cheap replacement for a broke PSP, great product for selfmade stuff.
What other choice do you have?

Pros: It works, it's incredibly cheap, revived discarded PSPs. Simple to install (it's attached to the inside of the Phat PSP's faceplate with two screws, just replace).
Cons: It seems to work a bit differently than the stock one, and the feel is not quite the same. The stick on the PSP kind of sucks anyway, so it's not much of a change. Only get this if you need to replace a broken stick.
Other Thoughts: Someone gave me this Phat PSP because the entire joystick mechanism was broken. Most know you can buy new caps but not the whole stick. Now I have a loaner/friend PSP to go along with my also-hacked Slim.
Bottomline: It's a replacement, not some L337 upgrade. Buy it if yours is broken, it is so cheap.
the bad quality compared with the product before.

Pros: Internal parts were changed to the bad quality compared with the product before.
I received a lot of complaints from my guest.:-(

Pros: I bought this for a friend he doesn't need it now. I'm going to use it on a PIC since it is just two POT's it can easily input into any ADC
Cons: My friend is a jerk
Other Thoughts: Filling space Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla Bla
Bottomline: Great for the PSP but just as good as a very inexpensive joy stick for building things like robots.
