Perfect for media centers!

Pros: - Works with windows 7.

- VERY VERY useful, using it with my HTPC all the time, much more useful than the wireless keyboard-mouse that came with it.

- Thin and compact design.

- Build quality is good.

- Can control mouse as well as use for media player\media center.

Cons: - While you can make sense of most icons, all the text is in Chinese.

- Has a strong weird smell - hope it wears out in a week or so.

Other Thoughts: The same one in English would be hit.

Some more options would also rock - this is the only mini remote I saw in DX.

Bottomline: A MUST if you have a media center PC.

Pros: Range is at least 20 feet.  Receiver flashes to show button presses.  Seems to have all the most used Media Center function keys, plus works as a mouse.  Also has some web browser shortcut keys.  Works with Win7.

Cons: Button labels and instructions in Chinese only. Not really a con unless you weren't paying attention when ordering.

A little smaller than expected, but that's fine.

Other Thoughts: Mouse operates in etch-a-sketch mode using arrow buttons. Won't replace a real mouse for frequent use, but will do in a pinch.

If you look close at the photos, you'll see that some buttons have secondary functions in blue.  The secondary functions are toggled by pressing the button to the lower right of the directional pad. (Took some trial and error to figure out.)

Bottomline: I think I'll use it even though it's the wrong language for me.  But probably could have made a better choice.
