Pros: This was a good price for a great quality flashlight. I bought this to house a Blu-Ray laser diode. The LED wasn't the brightest, but it was pretty good. The best part about this flashlight is its build quality. I LOVE the weight and feel of this light, holding it makes you KNOW it is worth something. This will make a great laser pointer.
Cons: I don't need the LED at all, would be good if DX just sold hosts, but for cheap.
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline: GET THIS LIGHT!!! Its great! It's worth the money, it is such good quality, it is a good size, etc. There's nothing wrong with this light, it's fantastic.

Pros: Nice looking, easily available batteries, good size, wide head.
Cons: Not really that bright, big for a jeans pocket, lots brighter available in smaller packages.
Other Thoughts: I expected more from this light. The body is really smart-looking and will probably accomodate lots of fiddling for you modders out there, so there's definitely room for this light. Would've preferred a forward clicky, of course. I've got two AAA lights which are much brighter and didn't really cost much more.
Bottomline: I wasn't blown away with this light. So far my favorite from DX is still the sku 02083 MXDL '3W' w/ one CR123. Ridiculously small, surprisingly bright, and I could've gotten two of them for the price of this one.

Pros: -Bright
-Not too heavy
-Sturdy
-Glass lens
-Doesn't get too hot
Cons: Not the brightest flashlight in its class. I would want something brighter for outdoors. And I doubt it is really waterproof, the orings are pretty thin and there isn't even one on the front around the glass lens. Probably could take a few splashes, but don't expect it to work submerged.
Other Thoughts: Tightening down the inside of the tail cap with pliers seems to fix the flickering. To fix the wire touching the star all I did was simply move it away from the star with pliers and everything was back to normal. Also, an 18500 battery would be nice instead of 3 AAA's.
Bottomline: A great flashlight for the money, would be a great body to use for modding with some regulation boards, and a seoul or cree led. I think seouls would work better given the design of the reflector. There is room under the led for a driver board, so get modding! Or just buy it because its a great light for under $15!

Pros: A very solid built flashlight. Appears to be all metal body. The glass lens is a nice feature. It is really a great Looking flashlight that takes readily available AAA batteries. The light that it produces is very warm and even.
Cons: The light that it produces is not as bright as I thought it would be. I do not think it really is water proof. The O rings are very thin.
Other Thoughts: I wish it was a little brighter, than it would be a SUPER deal.
Bottomline: A good looking flashlight that feels real solid in your hands. A nice flashlight for the price.
