Pros: Works as described. Kills bugs in a single swing! Death by electrocution, kind of satisfying... as well as stinky... but, satisfying...
Cons: Build quality is a little suspect. Mine arrived with the outer metal mesh sticking out from the plastic frame. Just bent it back in, still works.Batteries had to be forced in... and it takes D size batteries, which make the handle very heavy. This makes the racket harder to swing quickly, which you sometimes need to do to catch insects.
Other Thoughts: I actually took the entire thing apart because i thought it wasn't working. The build quality was average. Anyway it was working, I was just putting the batteries in the wrong way (duh!!)
Bottomline: ....
Pros: Last time I had this much fun I was 10 years old & using a magnifying glass to burn ants! Brings back the kid in you. Mmmm, the smell of burnt bug. Oh yeah, it works Really Well. Used it on some nasty wasps and they usually knock out after the first swat; I just like to keep them on the zapper, holding the button and watch them smoke, just to make sure their dead =)
Cons: Yes, they are cheaply built. In fact mine arrived in two pieces, but nothing a little 2-ton epoxy can't hold together. You wouldn't want to hit any surface real hard with this, it is cheap, but you get past this dilemma by using a controlled swat, as opposed to a "IT'S A BUG DIE!" kind of swat.
Other Thoughts: I didn't even bother using D-cells in this. For 1, too expensive & For 2, You Want More Frying Juice! The answer is the 2*AA to D-cell adapters (SKU 22082). So you increase the voltage from 3 volts to 6 volts, NICE!
Bottomline: I'm buying another one...
Pros: Great power !!These things are great for killing bugs.hang up near the outdoor light and it will kill bugs all night. These are very fun.also great if you convince your mate to put their finger in the mesh before you turn in on
Cons: These are very cheap build quality.Be gently and dont hit anything with them.I expect them to break easily.WARNING. capacitors still hold charge after you release the button. They do discharge but not instantly.
Other Thoughts: WAS VERY HARD TO GET INTO AUSTRALIA, Aussies no longer need a permit to import these. Our STUPID people at customs received them (7 of them) 2 days before the permits were not needed. but the still made us get the permit. Customs are a bunch of unorganized fools.
Bottomline: Fantastic !!!!
Pros: ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? - Well it does work pretty good- Frying Bugs is a pleasure for you and the kids- You can kill big dangerous Bugs (good for wasps)- The walls won't get dirty by smashing flies on them? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
Cons: ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? - The Quality is not The Best you could expect- There are 2 models of it and I git the one with a Thunder on it which is too much protected with a fake plastic grid so it can be difficult to have the bug touch the real electric grid.- The very small flies fly through it.- Catching a fly on a Wall or a Window is tricky- The item could be Cheaper- The item is big!? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
Other Thoughts: Well I think I said everything about it.
Bottomline: Not such big a deal.
