Pros: Good price, very handy to have. Saw something similar at the dollar store for holding 16 AA batteries, which is fine for some uses, but this is perfect for carrying around a few extras with the digital camera. Having a few different colours for cases is also useful for other household members to know which rechargeables are charged and ready to use.
Cons: As others have mentioned, it's a little tough to open when there are four AA batteries in it, mainly because of the way the catch is designed. No problem opening it when it is less than full.
Other Thoughts: Tried them out, ordered a few more for all my AA and AAAs after using them.
Bottomline: Recommended, reasonably priced, very useful.
Good value

Pros: Very nice , holds 4 AA's very securely and makes for very tidy storage . I also found them to be very secure , and will not open , not even when dropped on the floor .
Cons: Might be a little hard to open :
Other Thoughts: They are a little hard to open , Child proof ? quite possibly , and a lot of adults have trouble opening child proof things .
But the ones I got , wont even open when dropped on the floor full of AA's .
I would love to see 8xAA cases .
Bottomline: Only one little gripe , there just a little hard on the fingers when opening , but that could be a good thing , especially if you have children .
Must buy!

Pros: A friend of mine had something similar, and when i was browsing DealExtreme's products and found these battery case holders, i bought the set. I bought this item as i could not keep on having loose batteries running around inside my bag ... I wanted something to gather a set of AA/AAA batteries in one place inside my bag ... so that when i need batteries i would not have to spend 15 minutes searching for each battery i have in my bag, or pulling out all of my stuff just to find 4 AA/AAA batteries.
Cons: There is nearly nothing really wrong with these AA/AAA battery case holders ... My only concern is that by time if you open and close the case holders too many times, the plastic of the "hinge" might break. For now the "hinge" of each cover is still whole. If it breaks, i could buy another set of 3 case holders, they are not expensive :)
Bottomline: Although the title says that they are for AA, they also hold AAA batteries ... Therefore the bottomline is that if you like to carry AA batteries or AAA batteries, or both AA and AAA batteries ... these case holders are a must have ... And if the case holders break, by time, you can always buy another set of 3 battery case holders from DealExtreme at a cheap price. Therefore in my opinion they are a must have with a bargin for individuals who like to carry batteries in their bags to put inside a camera, etc

Pros: 4 x AA Battery Case Holder
Useful and practical if you happen to use lots of AA or even AAA sized batteries (primarys or rechargeables) and you need to have them stored, carried around etc.
Decent construction, doesn't look like it's going to break easily.
Cons: At this price you can't complain too much.
Other Thoughts: Such boxes are definitely needed when one wants to carry AA or AAA batteries without causing short-circuits. But it's also very useful to store them.
Hook different color pairs together: green for NiMH "charged" & the other red for "recharge" clear ones for normal batteries.
Bottomline: Hook different color pairs together: green for NiMH "charged" & the other red for "recharge" clear ones for normal batteries. An outstanding product & value... & Free Shipping!
