Pros: It works to magnetize and de-magnetize tools when working in different situations.
 
Cons: It is a little cheaply made but since I had to know what was going on inside it actually took a little effort to get it open.
 
Other Thoughts: Don't try to use it on something that's already magnetized as if it's been magnetized strongly it may not be strong enough to demagnetize it.
Also pre-magnetized items may have been done with a different polarity so swapping the direction of the magnets may help if it won't work but it still may be too weak if it was meant to be a magnetized tool.
 
Bottomline: When working with non magnetic tools it works fine to turn them magnetic and not almost instantly with no problems at all.

Pros: * the magnetizer works sufficiently

* ideal to use with a screwdriver

Cons: * the demagnetizer doesn't work (at least for me)

* not ideal for things besides screwdrivers

* it's large (it's actually quite a big box)

* the holes are small for some objects

Bottomline: There is a sufficient effect when you magnetize a tool but it is not as strong as if you bought a magnetized tool. Perfect for those who work with computers and use screws. Buy it if you need to magnetize something but I had problems demagnetizing anything.

Pros: Looked promising. I actually waited for it to arrive before working on my watch, hoping to properly demagnetise my screwdrivers in case I screw things up! Turn out I expected too much of it. This thing can magnetise things in an instant but speaking of de-magnetising... refer to cons.

Cons: Not-so-cool actually when you realise that the de-magnetiser part does not fully/completely demagnetise your tools. I work with watches and I realised that after demagnetising, my precision screwdrivers could still pick up those tiny screws. I tried it many times with different methods and at different angles but results were still the same. 

In addition, the build quality was quite poor in that it seemed to be made of inferior quality plastic and that glue used to put them together was only brush on some but not all sides. You could tell easily from the dried glue.

Other Thoughts: It's just sitting there now. Doing nothing. Pity.

Bottomline: Might be useful for magnetising things. Then again, you could use ANY magnet for that.

Pros: - Magnetizes every tool made of metal which can be magnetized.

- Your screwdriver will never lose it's screws. 

- Demagnetize your tools when working with magnet-sensitive equipment.

Cons: - None

Other Thoughts: - Extremely usefull when fixing computers or other equipment. 

- Pick up screws from the ground with your screwdriver.

Bottomline: Must buy for everyone who screws anything.
