Really don't know how it works

Pros: It could easily detect wireless item, like wireless router, car radio, WiFi etc. 
Cons: It didn't come with the manual or instruction, it just indicate some Chinese simplified word in the back: A . Search long distance, B. Search short distance. Thank god I know Chinese.   
Other Thoughts: I had used this item to search my aquarium, and the detector reacted it detect a signal. Maybe my fishes are listen.

Some speakers will do the same, I mean with wire.  
Bottomline: Might help you to search internet signal from your neighborhood.
