Pros: It's a very cheap VGA cable compared to an official one, enables you to get full HD output and standard PC resolutions for monitors as well as TVs.The image is very clear and stable for the most part. The 360 AV connector also has optical out.
Cons: Does not allow standard composite or component connections as described.Plastic looks a little cheap. There isn't a HD/SD switch on the connector.
Other Thoughts: Buy this if you want to use VGA instead of composite or Component. Newer systems have HDMI, but older systems can benefit from this cable while attached to a PC monitor or TV with VGA input.
Bottomline: Cheap but good solution to connect the XBOX360 to a Monitor and have a good quality of video and sound.Huge difference among playing hi-res and normal resolution.
Pros: Well what can I really say it's a cable. Works as advertised and does its job well. Every bit as good as the genuine Microsoft cable that I have, but at a fraction of the price. Build quality seems to be good and the connectors are good. Picture looks great.
Cons: It was a little hard to screw in the screws on the VGA end of the cable, however for how often I do this, it's not really a big deal. Not quite as heavy as the Microsoft cable, although I don't notice any picture problems.
Other Thoughts: I don't use the audio out on this cable except for the optical out so I couldn't really attest to the quality of the RCA connectors...
Bottomline: For the price its a fantastic deal. It preforms just as well as the actual Microsoft cable but cost considerably less. Works out great for playing my xbox on my monitor or projector. A good buy.
Pros: Excellent build quality. Comparable to cables that cost way more.Allows you to use headphones with a DVI monitor by using it with a HDMI > DVI and a RCA to phono adapter.Cheaper to use this for RCA audio with HDMI video than the M$ audio dongle.
Cons: It doesn't support my 24" Acer's 1920x1200 max resolution.I have to use it with black bars on the top and bottom of my display.
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline: Its great. Instead up upgrading my PC to play games, I just use this at my desk with headphones. My monitor has dual inputs so I use this on VGA and my PC on DVI.
Pros: mine came with a gold type plating for the connectors(Microsofts does'nt even come with that!!!!)Very simple to use
Cons: Well after about 2 weeks of using this, i had it connected to my pc speakers(which is what most people are going to do if they buy this cable). Well anway, for some reason they just stop working. I know that its not the speakers that are broke because if i plug them into my computer i can hear the speakers perfectly. But i bought 2 of these cable and neither of them can seem to get the volume correctly. I'm not sure if its my speakers(which i doubt) I say just stick with the microsof 1.
Bottomline: It good but there can be consequences for how cheap this is.
